I beg u critique Eddie hall videos where he coaches people to lose weight for some British show. He's also a psycho like Mark. No regard for people, laughs and humiliates them emotionally, and just pretend to care about their workout doesn't check their form or get involved even he's just there to criticize and hurt them
Man, the damn camera I just bought I could barely afford doesn’t work!! Like all the other expensive crap I bought. …. Let’s go Brandon. My body’s gonna look bad ass for my age I’m not gonna reveal my true age but I’m old as dirt and I follow this guy and Alex and there’s a couple other and that’s it because these mofos are real. I’m pretty sure I can do awesome dips if I can get some good footage of it, I can fuckin throw em down too son. 💯🇺🇸🗽….. ain’t afraid. Thanks Dc Mike 💪🏼
I thought the suitcase carry was a great core exercise? Is that wrong? Squat university says it is a great functional core exercise so who is correct? Is it BS or not?
Wait!!! Was not a skit? I thought it was a parody of a celebrity train king video. Especially with him doing funny shit in the background and delivering cheesy quotes. No wait! You guys got it wrong. It is a skit.
It’s like the trainer is a calm parent trying to explain something to another adult, and Mark is a high energy kid jumping from thing to thing doing random shit.
The trainers' face literally every single time Mark is in the frame with him is priceless. Though to be fair; if someone said they wanted me to train them, paid me tens of thousands of dollars every session, and didnt do a single fucking thing I requested.. I'd just let it happen.
Anything I do accidentally while being absolutely hammered can't be "very athletic". This includes, but is not limited to, walking in a figure 8 pattern and falling down a flight of stairs. I too chocked on my chili con carne when he said that. Maybe I should try falling down stairs with a jump rope and a 70 pound kettlebell. I bet it is huge for the core.
His PT is the outcome of all these online classes nowdays 😂 I can't just understand how this kind of "PTs" get to work for all those actors etc. Even me, self-internet educated random gym enjoyer know enough to tell that most what his PT said is just such nonsense.
@@LazaranI think they don't even do much. Like they might even know what they are doing but Mark is a gym nut so i won't even be surprised if he's very opinionated and end up hijacking the normie way of doing things.
What an absolute joke. Mark's "program" is a joke, his diet is a joke. The only reason he has an ok looking Physique is because all he's doing is focusing on working out and eating healthy with no other stressors in his life. I would argue his Physique looks like shit for the amount of time and effort he puts in. He doesn't have size, he's not shredded and vascular.. hes just kinda lean kinda muscular.
@@Algi4 wdym? Recovery is just being active daily, the more the better. Up to a reasonable point. Eat enough and sleep +8h and focus on quality sleep. That's all you can do for your physical recovery. What various methods are you hoping to hear about? There's cryo and heat therapies, but those are more for acute injuries and not training for hypertrophy.
Wait, he doesn't eat anything packaged? So Performance Inspired protein isn''t packaged? What, Marky Mark goes to his protein powder tree and picks up fresh protein powder?
OMG... i was dying when you mentioned the circus acts while using the TRX. As a former performer with CDS and Ringling Bros. and now a circus school owner... I loved that one.
Mark is literally that guy we see in the gym that makes us shake our head. We want to talk to them and give advice but don’t want to intrude and be that guy.
@@hdudidi”naturally” his name just happened to be on that leaked Hollywood steroid list by coincidence 😂 if this is actually how he trains he is literally a living example of that case study of 600 odd mg of test being enough to grow muscle on even untrained people
@user-ns3vs3bp3e 100% Correct. All these Hollywood folk are on some sort of peds. They don't cut weight and build muscle in such short periods of time naturally.
I saw the oddball dude in the gym and usually i ignore him like he doesn't exist as he uses every machine ruining my tempo when i want a turn and saw him doing 1 rep max one arm concentration curl 3x with 40lbs and 50lbs and I just couldn't do it anymore and gave his gym buddies a warning coz tearing the biceps is no joke and i found out he works manual labor so he needs those arms to work so yeah i tried my best, I don't want him to think I'm annoying or worst a friend but I just can't stand seeing someone on his way to an accident.
I saw an old clip of him on some talkshow and for whatever reason he was doing a pullup challenge. Said he could do 50? Maybe just 30 pullups. "But clean ones" he says, then proceeds to not even get his stretched chin to the bar on almost all the reps while also swinging and using momentum. Dude would probably struggle to get through one set with Mike lol.
Dr Mike has truly come into his own. It's like when a band writes that second or third album. They've mastered their craft, figured out what works for them, all the while still full of natural inspiration and creativity. Pure magic.
They spend more time looking for trainers who can give them unique and off the wall exercises for which they can brag amongst each other about their 1-of-a-kind trainer. It’s a bragging item for celebrities that they don’t train “like common people.”
Probably through who they know and honestly other actors do not work out at all and like the average person knows VERY little. So when they start to do a little they're like this guys great! Oh you should workout with my guy! @@michaelblacktree
I will never feel dejected again when I have an "off" day in my small basement gym when a multi-millionaire, with access to the best of everything, trains like an absolute clown and has people around him who are also clowns. Insane.
Absolutely. To be fair marky mark probably is hitting his core decently well with all the lunges and twists with resistance. It won't get him big and jacked but a lot of people could use more of this type of movement
I have noticed that the biggest and strongest mfs come from smaller a bit poorish gyms. U are forced to do the same old school exercises for thousands of reps over time, and thats what actually works. So keep on going
@@helvijskalnins3264 Those gyms aren't for poors bro, anybody looking that big is spending a lot of money on food and stuff, a poor man's gym is Planet Fitness that costs like $5 a month but won't let you grunt too loud.
It's such a shame to see how people nowadays just don't really recover anymore. I still remember the good old days in the 90s, when people would just recover without thinking about it. You just don't see people recovering anymore and it just really breaks my heart.
As I see it , and this comes from a point of a former Navy EOD, current Strength coach and Physical Therapist, he has no functional strength or ability. Everything is esthetic . I guess that works in his line of work, but wouldn’t want to count on him to carry me out of a problem or even be able to handle himself if rucking into an area.
Mark is definitely trolling us in this video. He knows how to lift. And the Vietnamese trainer seeking vengeance on Mark by having him just walking around doing random shit had me in stitches.
I’ve been a Personal Trainer for over 30 years and you are spot on. The industry has far to many “trainers” like the individual in the video and not enough like you. Buyer beware.
The trainer talking seriously without any music cut together with mark doing the goofiest shit in the background made the video feel like a skit from the office
The one hand suitcase carry is potentially an excellent exercise for lower back stability and health, provided it is performed by keeping shoulders and hips horizontal -- and walking slowly and deliberately to control the angle of shoulders and hips by engaging the core. If I saw it correctly Mr Wahlberg was running around as fast as he could while leaning aggressively on one side during the exercise... oh well...
Yeah it's good if you are training for strongman or are some kind of athlete, but how's it gonna make you lean and jacked which is all an actor should care about lol.
Yeah carries are perfectly good stability exercises. If your goal was just to get jacked, you'd probably spend the time doing other things, but Mike saying it "Doesn't do anything" is a bit much. Lots of people swear by heavy carries for trap growth.
The best thing about this video was watching the "trainer" do 1 (one) bad repetition of a suitcase carry and be out of breath for the next 5 minutes talking about it. Stunning work
Lmao 😂😂😂 this was awesome! Loved it! Reminds me of the movie "Nacho Libre" when Nacho and Esqueleto were training for their wrestling match, using arrows, bee hives, and horse shit 😂😂😂
Johnny Trinh, the man who Wahlberg assaulted while he was high on PCP when he was 16, confirmed in an interview in 2014 that he had already been blinded in that eye during the Vietnam War. Wahlberg did not blind him during the attack, and in the same 2014 interview Trinh publicly forgave Wahlberg because he was "young and reckless" and "deserves another chance". Don't spread misinformation about things that are easy to verify.
Whalberg has always been known for insane waste of time in his 2 hour 3 am workout club bullshit. Imagine how he would look if he actually knew how to train… insane.
@@UceyJuceyJey do these guys look like Jay Cutler ? Grow a pair of eyes before being so condescending. Also, they are doing some training, and steroids can get you muscles without even training. Do some research yourself.
I want to see Mark do a proper exercise like a side plank while doing a shoulder press with a kettlebell and a resistance band around his ankles while doing hip thrusts all at the same time.
Bro, you should do a follow-up to this series where you critique user submitted workout plans and offer how your experience and the RP App could improve on the program. Love the content as always
If Mark can look like that with a workout routine that has him running around like a coked up circus monkey, imagine what he'd look like if he actually trained properly
Bruh he was always working out properly fr these 2 vids are the first time I noticed him doin random bs so I think it’s more of an advert for that product
The thing of it is that Mark isn’t some average joe actor. He’s had a beautiful body for 30 years. His pecs were a supporting actor by themselves in Date Night. No way this is what he has been doing the whole time.
" it's easier to stay in shape than to get in shape " actually is inspirational for normal people. If someone doesn't really want to forever train 5d/week, they can still be motivated to do that for a couple months a year if they know they can (maybe )keep it with 3x1h a week. Just like a fat guy wouldn't want to do 1_2h cardio 4x a week if that was a forever thing. Some fat people also think feeling like starving is forever if they want to stay slim and are disheartened.
Whenever Mike does these videos I always wonder what it would be like if they came on a did a full workout with Mike and Jared. Would be such good content
Loving these videos , have you watched Marks , Marky Mark workout video he released back in the day ? Would be interested to see you break that one down.
This was amazing 🤣👏🔥I’m 44, on my second pacemaker, and in the best shape and condition of my life!!! Point being, even for being somewhat limited, it doesn’t take 30 different exercises to get into mean shape! I’m walking proof, it’s consistency and intensity, doesn’t take much time if you attack it right and regularly 💪👏🔥🔥🔥
is edging a good accesory for a weak grip on the deadlift? im doing 10x10 each hand every night yet i'm not seeing results, i'm also getting a DEEP stretch at the bottom fyi, am i doing too much volume???
10:32 I'm just gonna assume that Performance Inspired supplements come in either small plastic bags or in bricks. Now that I think about it, that explains the rapid weight loss.
When I went to high school in England, there was such a grade as a 'U', which meant 'ungraded', the implication being that the work submitted was so terrible that it was beyond the ability of the examiner to assign a grade. Maybe keep that in mind for part 3 ;-)
"There is nothing in a box, that we eat, nothing packaged" - Makes an advertisement about highly processed nutritional pulver. Yes, yes, that sentence makes absolute sense, I feel really good informed by him. Fascinating they kept that sentence in :D
I do love these videos having discovered them recently. What I would say is that not everyone trains to get 'jacked', and doing anything is better than doing nothing.
9:03 The worst part is it would almost be true if Mark wasn't walking around the weight in the figure 8s. He almost looks like he's holding back a smile when he says that BS about centripetal force. If the weight was on the outside of Mark's turn, there might be some actual core work happening by accident, but here, he literally walks around the kettlebell with the weight as his pivot point (AKA not moving). Coach even gestures what he means with his arm, WHILE Mark is doing it the other way at the same time! If bruh was actually coaching instead of talking he might have noticed...
No fuckin way they didnt cut somethin at 17:14 when the chef said "I dont think the bean make you fart i think it the..." bet anythin he said that fuckin protein powder lol
