A toilet stool, or resting your feet on 6 to 8 inch blocks, when you relieve yourself helps A LOT. It allows you to defecate with almost zero pushing. It really helps the hemorrhoid to heal because you're not aggravating it every time you go. I appreciate the good advice in the video, and the explicit guidelines for doing the exercises correctly. Thats not true at all. Elevation of feet is minimally effective especially once your past a certain height. Look up actual research on it. Yeah its effective if your like 5 feet tall…
@@jakeblack5970 All people need to do is experiment and find the elevation that works for their legs and their toilet height. It's zero cost to experiment with a stool or a box or a crate you have lying around,.so why not try it? Just for shiggles. I'm speaking from experience, and the experience of many pregnant/just gave birth folks. Putting your feet up helps reduce the necessary muscular effort. That's assuming you're drinking adequate water and have adequate fiber in your diet, and aren't in any medications that interfere with bowel movements. If you eat poorly or are dehydrated, you're still likely going to need to push but less so.
@@jakeblack5970 Actually the research is conclusive, and squatting or assuming a squat position with the use of a stool whilst defecating helps to open the passage for the stool to exit and relieve pressure on the surrounding tissue. Guys it worked. Thank you!!!! I did two things: 1.) The exercise you mentioned from the study (the only one they said worked)......... which was to "pull in your wiener (which you're not doing of course but you're simulating that)" That TOTALLY WORKS. 2.) Sleeping with a pillow between my knees at night. Which is a good thing for posture I read anyway. THANK YOU. Took about 1 day to notice difference with your "pelvic floor" exercise. Before that, I had about 2.5 months of discomfort.
A lot of hemorrhoids are caused by constipation and people sitting on the toilet too long. Eat a big salad everyday and it will help emmensly with constipation. Most people, especially Americans, don't eat anywhere near the number of servings of vegetables and fruit per day that they should be eating.
Very true and getting it right is so easy really! You just have to stop listening to the ads! Change the cereal to raw vegetables plus an egg. No processed food, no coffee, no sugary drinks, No take away! no smoking, but the really big one :NO SUGAR! NO ALCOHOL, avoid cereals!!! very little bread/white flour products, avoid bread, ham, instead make it advocado, with sauerkraut, awsome! ..........feed your biome with good nutrients! I’ve never had hemorrhoids before in my life. I’m 26. About 3 weeks ago I had bad diarrhea for about a week and I ended up getting an external hemorrhoids and it feels like someone is stabbing you with a knife. It burns and itches too. It makes me mad that if i never had the diarrhea I would’ve never gotten one. After a week it went away and shrunk. About a week later after straining it has come back 😑 I haven’t been able to go to the gym in a month because of this.
It's very simple. Your diet needs to be made up of LOTS of fiber and water. Meat, dairy, and eggs do not have fiber and take the longest to digest, sometimes days. They sit in your colon and fester. Fruits and veggies have the highest fiber and water content. Your diet needs to be 80% fruit and veg. The rest can be grains, nuts, legumes, beans. Drink tons of water. I have been eating this way for years and got a hemmie after taking a desk job. Adding magnesium citrate fixed it. It's proven to help soften stool because it helps your body absorb more water instead of it going straight through you. Do these things and avoid caffeine, try not to sit too much, and exercise. And don't push too hard when you poop. If you're eating this way you shouldn't have to push too hard anyway.

How to prevent hemroids : use these steps whenever possible. *some graphic language*. I am not a Doctor, this is not medical advice, please consult your doctor before trying any of these steps, and please use at your own risk. These are the steps that Jake Friesen takes only. 1. Eat 1 teaspoon of metamucil per day, with water, at dinner time. 2. Drink lots of water, and never, ever sit on anything cold, like concrete. 3. Wake up the same time every morning. 4. drink a cup of coffee, and have a small breakfast to get bowels going. 5. Do not sit on toilet until absolutely ready to release. 6. Never try to push or force your poop out (you could be constipated or have a blockage or hard poop). If you can't poop, get off the toilet immediately, consult your doctor and take steps to relieve yourself of the constipation. 7. When pooping, either raise your feet with a stable platform or "a squaty potty product furniture). OR, simply bend forward as much as possible, and then with your hands, push on your knees, and engage your ab muscles, as if you were doing a push up. Your poop should just slide right out. 8. Clean up. Wipe the area gently, and sprinkle water onto the toilet paper if possible. Finsh up with a wet baby wipe if possible. If the clean up is a nightmare, (like cleaning peanut butter out of a shag carpet), take a shower if possible (shower comes in handy later, if you have major problems) 9. This part is for men, or anyone who has the parts, or thinks they want to be a man. While wiping your butt, gently pull up on your balls and ball sack. This helps stretch your taint muscles and relax them. Also while wiping and pulling on your ball sack, slowly clench on anus tighter and tighter, while slowly increasing the clench time. If you currently have an external hemmroid, doing this in the shower with soap is great. Try to push that balloon back into your body. 10. Also while pulling up on your sack, gently massage or push on your taint to relax it. After a short while, stop all processes and just relax. Then continue pulling, massaging, and clenching, and keep trying to push the bubble back into your rectum. 11. Once totally clean, apply a small amount of Vaseline or baby diaper rash cream on your anus. 12. After you leave the bathroom, continue to pull up on your ball sack and massage your taint, and clench your anus, if possible. You want the whole area to be relaxed. 13. Have a great day!
I started working out about 3 months ago. First month was painful I would feel a throbbing pain after a workout next day felt okay. Couple weeks pass after a month and there's no more bleeding and much less pain. Month passes and it's month 3 now and been free of this pain for about a month. No more bleeding pain all that. Feel much better. I'm lifting heavy weights not jogging or anything else just lifting. I think if you fight through it your body will naturally cure it especially if you're young especially under 40. Feel so much better!

This is the same exercise that I was taught in birthing class to strengthen those muscles to prepare for birth. They had us do a semi-squat leaning forward slightly and then tighten those pelvic floor muscles.

Use Slippery Elm herb ( found at ur local Health Food store,can buy in sm.bulk,ie 1oz.) in tea or warm water.helps greatly,esp.when an outbreak of pain! Cheap ole Witch Hazel on T.P.square applied by blotting helps shrink them!. Don't let any blood scare you,only looks like ALOT,in Toilet water. Start using Flax( use a sm.coff.grinder) & Chia seeds alternately for reg. fiber ,daily sprinkle on foods,salads, soups,etc.
Its very difficult to walk for me, forgot about keagle exercise. Can't sleep on your back, I am always sleeping on my chest. And the area is always wet.
@@arungill9646 same I just got this shiit 2 days ago and I’m in excruciating pain the burning sensation and leaking makes it feel worse I can’t get it to stop burning worse pain in my life I can’t even use the restroom because I’m constipated which hurts when I try sitting on the toilet and try pushing and it hurts to even wash it when I shower and it keeps me up and when I sleep I wake up to this burning sensation!!!!!
@@arungill9646 I got mine to go away by going to get it checked and they popped mine with a needle and the other one was being stubborn when he tried popping it with a needle and it kept moving inwards soo he got a scalpel and cut it with that after poking it 3 to 4 times with the needle which was painful even tho they numbed it but mine were external hemorrhoids with blood clots in them and they were bleeding a lot the more he kept pushing the more pain I was in but if he didn’t do that I would probably would’ve had to wait longer for the hemorrhoids to go away since they were big hemorrhoids and I didn’t want to go through that burning sensation longer soo I took the option for him to get rid of them
One of the best things to do is to start using the Asian squat when you do your bowel movements. If you do some research on RU-vid then you will see there are a lot of videos that talk about this.
Serious question: What is the difference if you sit on the toilet and read versus just sitting on a chair to read or sitting anywhere for long periods?
Holding it for 10 seconds for the first time made the region palpate and I could feel a warm rush of blood come in when I let go of the hold. 10 reps intially is sounding like too much, but I think will get better with time. Year of straining and prolonged sitting had made me suffer today... Looking for ways to combat pain at 3:30 am, with my hemmorhoid operation having been delayed by 2 weeks since I have contracted covid.
Listen guys it is easy to find those muscles. Go and pee, then stop your peeing, that is the muscle. But don't do this too often, or youcould get other problems. Just use this muscle dry, haha add the anus and that is it.
#### I KNOW THE ANSWER #### I really hope this helps someone. There are a lot of videos giving false information about how to cure or treat hemorrhoids. The advice being given is incorrect. I know this because I have successfuly managed to treat my own very quickly following this dietary change. I really hope this helps someone. You need to eat Tubers and Root veg. Not 'FIBER' like all these videos keep saying because fiber is anything from wheat to Brocoli to oats to beans to wholegrain rice . Examples of What you should be eating : Sweet Potato, Yam, Cassava, Carrots, Beetroot, Parsnip etc.
I discovered that lifting my feet up onto a footstool or chair rungs and then taking long deep breaths. You will feel the stool slide out wuick and easy on the inhale! Amazing! Never push! Wipe gently with cold sopping wet toilet paper! Soothing and cleans thoroughly without tearing any existing hemorrhoid.
Last time I had hemorrhoid I was sitting on a bench at the gym and felt a fart coming on I thought it could be loud so I pushed so hard I got one. It was loud though.
I deal with it . It’s painful . I was told to green food such as beet greens , spinach , I used to get bloody droplets on my poop . I was not told about exercising the haemorrhoids. I still have to put cream on a haemorrhoid after a bowel movement . I’m trying to shrink my haemorrhoid .

I moved into a small separate entrance 6 years ago. I use the toilet pot as a chair coz here isn't a lounge. I now suffer from piles. My boyfriend is getting annoyed already.

I get constipation really bad and with that i get piles really really painful I think the weather also affects because when I go to Pakistan to visit my family i never be constipated or get piles only in the UK
Rofl I under no circumstances assumed that Melissa Thanderski’s method would work, yet actually "you know who" went through the procedure and she absolutely eliminated her piles. Ok quite possibly it was not within 48 hours, but approximately 72 hours afterwards they all totally disappeared and she hasn't had a single break out since.

Being in this life, contemplating what to do about the situation has been one of the annoying things I have gone through in a while. I saw some symptoms of Hemorrid, I haven't been able to use the toliet for a while because of the pains that comes with it.

Probably too late for you, but for anyone else reading, be careful doing these exercises straight after having a surgical procedure. The area needs some time to heal, speak with your Dr or physiotherapist about whether it is safe.
