WHAT IS BRAIN EDUCATION TV?
Brain Education TV provides mental health and mental wellness videos to help young adults with loneliness, depression, and anxiety. The foundation of our content comes from Brain Education, an academic study from South Korea that stems from over 40 years of research and application and has been practiced by millions around the world.
WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

Thank you! This is doable, not too long and not intimidating so those of us with major debilitating depression can handle it. This gives me hope, even in my old age, late 70s. A note, I had to remind myself not to "compete" with your young flexible body, and I did a much slower and gentler "shaking" in my fragile, painful, injured body areas, I.e. lumbar and cervical spine. Maybe I won't get ideal results, but at least this is a fun, real exercise and I'm sure it helps improve our health. Thanks for sharing!!

Just a quick sidenote; this is a great exercise to warm your body up without doing anything too strenuous but for those of us with disabilities or just starting out with exercise (weak and stiff muscles), be sure to go slow at first and then match her speed after warming up! Just starting with those quick motions can actually hurt you (I speak from experience)! Just know your body and your limits and take your time with progress, it makes a world of a difference.

Wow Thank you for that awesome video!! It was the best that I did in a long time and there were so many things I loved about it I suddenly had the urge to do a workout today but after my warm up it hit me hard and I felt so heavy and sad that I couldn't imagine doing one more move, being on the edge of crying. Then I clicked on your video and did the entire thing!! :) I had Goosebumps almost all the way throughout the video, so there definitely moved some energy Also I liked how I didn't feel pitied or told "to love myself, I will get through this" and all this "positive vibe spreading" but it was rather a feeling of being understood and informed. Even the expression that you used that we are battling the symptoms and the heavyness and not "making the illness disappear" was awesome! I am also thinking about doing maybe a short arm workout as well ^-^ I don't know if I could appropriately express my excitement and gratefulness about this video so THANK YOU I will definitely come back to it when I am feeling very heavy and unmotivated in the future

This is my 4th time doing this and last night when I was done, I started to cry and didn’t stop until I finally stopped 3 hours later. I didn’t just cry, I sounded like a wounded animal, I screamed out to God, I had the quivering lip. Also, I experienced multiple flashbacks. I’m attributing this reaction to a major release of stuck energy and sadness, however I have no idea if that is what was really happening or not.
@BrainEducationTV
@BrainEducationTV 8 месяцев назад
Hello marthalouise701, thank you for sharing your experience. I think this is a good energetic release! It seems like this was stuck inside of you for a long time and was brought to the surface by moving your body. I recommend doing this more so that more emotions will come up and you can release them.

hmm. mixed feelings. This video was great for me exercise wise, as I haven't really moved in months and needed something really light. However, I am also sucidal and face a lot of external and health issues that * i can't do anything against *. So no, moving will not "reverse my depressed state" and give me energy again. Moving will hopefully prevent me from loosing all ability to function. And the more you talked about how I'll reverse my depression, and have the power, etc., the more demotivated I became. I do NOT. I literally don't. I can't do anything against my circumstances nor the chronic illnesses. It is FAIR that I'm depressed because of it. I wish there was some help for depression that didn't act like a magic cure. I just want to feel like I'm doing a little bit to not make myself get even worse. Because that's what I am doing. Anything else is a lie and feels really bad. But I just don't have the energy to do all this without having a video of someone I can move along to. Ugh
@themadowl9224
@themadowl9224 5 месяцев назад
Like genuinely, stop promising a MAGIC CURE tm. If someone is genuinely deep in depression and has reasons it won't go away by just moving. It's extremely demotivating to hear you talk like that and then be done with the exercise and still feel like shit. Why not focus on the fact that, no matter how bad it might feel or how hard it is, you ARE doing something, and it will help just a little bit, but you've started, you are DOING IT. Very frustrated.
