Well Wowie Kazowie!! Another I never heard of and some neat history lesson about the 4 companies and the rings of Audi, etc. Such luxurious styling but also sleek and hot rod roaster feel to it, too! This is very similar to a Romach body Mercedes barn find I been following and learning about from Randy at Carchaeology, these are just way way out of my usual "wheelhouse". Like a metalhead learning a jazz song or something, lol.

Beautiful to say the least. By the way, I'm amazed by this car's resemblance to my 2021 Ram Classic (Note the word "Classic") 4X4 pickup. Although the color isn't the same and the value is not quite the same but other than that ! Love your videos !

Thanks for clearing the history up!! Many was to believe it’s been VW and Mercedes Daimler that hashed it out and amalgamated with auto union to form Audi . When In actual fact from listening to this they just bought them out and then split. Every day is a school day.

Auto Union grand prix cars were the only challenge to Mercedes Benz for first place in the 1930s. Horch built those cars (rear engine, designed by Dr. Porsche).

It is a very beautiful design like a German car. The two-door open car of this era must have been a special car for the wealthy. It must have cost a fortune to restore. I think that the inline 8 cylinder is a very large and heavy engine, but what about maneuverability and stability?

I just completed a complete engine rebuild for one of these Special Roadsters. Very stylish cars, just too bad everybody repaints these in stupid modern colors while restoring them
