Thank you for taking the confusion out of these different styles of atomizers for beginners. Your info specifically describes the differences in detail and will help newbies decide which style is best for him/her. I also love your delivery because you talk normally and don't speak in a hyped up voice, like many you tubers describing vaping, which allows your audience to greatly value your knowledge and experience.
I've been vaping for 4 years and your videos are some of the best explained videos I've seen. I'll be sending newbies your way and sharing them on a website I'm a Moderator on - they'll help a lot of newbies.
You helped me a ton dude... Thanks for the knowladge, because the subject has been one of the most confusing for me and to my surpise most vape shop employees. Because of this reason I depend on people like yourself... I do all my shopping on line now. I look for product that suits me and I look for the reviews befre I purchase. Again thanks.
The first word you were searching for was “acronym”the last term you were looking for was “industry standard” or “Standardized specifications” Great Job on the Explanations👏
Nice Video, finally someone who gets straight to the point and gives all the facts on the subject, also with a nice voice and overall great quality (audio/video).
Thanks for the explanations, I return vaping again after being sick for a week for smoking, and having all new acronym confused me,.. I'll be choosing the RTA for sensible cost and reward , rather than buying coils...
Mr CJ, please keep making video's for non-cool, non-cloud chasing middle-age folks like me. I'm referring your channel to some of my fully grown friends. Thank you. ;)
What is the RTA/TBA section in a subolm tank? how does it differ from a regular subolm tank? Anyways, now that we know all these different terms, when do we or should I say in what scenario do we use an RDA, RTA, subolm RDTA? Subolms: you want vape for an extended period without having to deal with the hastle of building coils RDA are good for short vapes, single flavor tasting testing juice without committing RTAs when you've found the juice to vape for long And a RDTA combines both RDA & RTA in one build, am I right? Now, what's the difference between RTAs & Subolms other than disposable coils, & which one produces the best flavors? By the way, what dual battery Mod with a flat & stable bottom do you recommend for these tanks? And lastly, if I'm not mistaking, an RTA is basically an RDA with a tank and a disposable coil isn't it?
yaaaaasss bebuilding once you get good saves soooooo much money. I was going through replacements when i had my cloudbeast seemed like daily. I like that on any of the rebuildabls (dats wha I call them) you can pull cotten, wash, prime and re cotton it and your good 2 go
RDAs the flavour is unbeatable and much more convenient than rdtas if you need to get to the coil or cotten you just lift the top with an rdta you have to take the hole thing apart and if you still got juice in the tank and need to get to the coil its inconvenient i find that with rdas im in much more control as well go through less juice all im doing is putting small drips on the cotton making sure its soaked evenly with my old rdta i was going through a lot more juice i was just filling the tank and wasn't in control how much juice was going into the cotton it would either be too much or too little was getting spit back or dry hits which is the worse on rda and rdtas . dipping every few hits becomes part of life you get used to it if im out and about or somewhere where dripping is a hassle then i use a sub ohm tank but rdas are my main thing coils and cotton really cheap too im pretty much stocked up for 6months same price it would of cost me for 3 sub ohm coils that would of lasted 3 weeks
0reaver01 Well actually not. With an rta you need to take everything apart, not with an rdta. You just take the top of and there's your deck, like an rda. Plus you don't have to carry bottles around and drip all the time
Chris Bowman meh RTA still gives you that metallic taste because the juice is stored with the metal chimney. On the other hand RDTA or a sqounker gives you the fresh taste of the juice
Thank you, been looking for an explanation of all these abbreviations. Been vaping for a couple of months now, haven't touched a cigg since. Started with an iCare Solo. Think I'm gonna step up to the SMOK STICK with TFV8 Baby Beast Tank. Think I'll. Stick with replaceable coils, not interested in having to rebuild.
Thanks for this video lots of awesome info I’ve been on sub ohm tank for awhile now about 10 months since I started vaping looking to take next step just trying to decide on RDA or RDTA have subscribed and look forward to your next video 👍👍
GREAT VIDEO and INFO! thank you for the explanation. i still a lil bit confused about rba vs sub ohm. you said sub ohm is coil from factory with < 1 ohm and replacable, right? if i build coil with 0.4 ohm that's called sub ohm too? Thank you
correct, the actual term "sub ohm" exists because back in the day most coils were over 1 ohm. When they started making coils below 1 ohm in resistance they called them "sub ohm tanks". The name just stuck and now mainly refers to any tank that take replaceable coils.
Very helpful.. I wold like to see a sub ohm/RDTA coil skip the build but get the wick hanging out........ A couple of questions. I am ordering a the Clieto hopefully tonight... What tank were you using the there 120 or original. what mod did you use it on//? You said .2 ohm. where they Clapton.. Last question - Kanger coils last over, heard these a pretty good... What are your thoughts..
Sub-Ohm means the resistance is lower than 1Ω."Sub" is the prefix for under, and Ohm is the measure of resistance in the conductive element. Less resistance = less heat and battery use. This allows you to vape at higher wattages getting more vapor.
Less Resistance causes more heat and battery use because it lets more electron go through it at the same time. P (power or heat) = V*V/R, so smaller R more heat it makes.
When electrons move against the opposition of resistance, “friction” is generated. Just like mechanical friction, the friction produced by electrons flowing against a resistance manifests itself in the form of heat.
Sylk Starks Oh how original. I'd be droppin my walkman right about now if this was 1998. FYI Bill Nye has a BS in mechanical engineering. He's as much as a scientist as you are a comedian.
To help the camera focus on close up items, put your palm behind it (kind of like a wall) so the camera notices the foreground (the item) instead of the background (you)
Great video, thank u for sharing the info with us. I would have few questions on you... I have recently purchased the cool fire tc100 with the isub V. - its great little device and got me off cigaretes. It goes through the juice fast so I have started to mix my own flavours. My only issue with that is that it doesnt have RBA coil, well I didnt find one and getting coils changed every 5days is slightly on the pricy side. -any suggestion? I would like to buy one more mood, I am thinking of some og the innokin one again with tank I can get RBA coils. -which one would u recommend? I would like to also purchase additional subohm RBA tank. -suggestion? I am thinking of the smok tfv4 mini with the rba. - would u say its a good option? I am sorry for so many questions. Thank u for your time and reply.
thanks for the clear up. I am vaping the baby beast subohm. I'm having a problem vaping high vg. what sub ohm tank is the best for flavor at the moment?
What full kit would you recommend for easy re wicking? i have had a jomo lite 40 and am sick of reduilding the coils and getting burnt hits, need something simple to rebuild
do you have a video on ohm resistant? im really new to vaping have a sigelei 150w crown tank and im just wondering whats normal and whats not on ohm resistant etc. thanks videos have helped alot!
as a newbie, do most box mods run any of these options. can you mix and match or are most box mods dedicated to a particular atomizer set up. again im a newbie so bear with me
jack handy nearly all mods have a 510 connection so you can run anything. if you have a mod that is 60w or lower it's probably best to run a tank because they need less Watts to get a good vape. anything over 100w you can use anything you like whether rta/rda ect there all universal to a point
Bryce Cummings after more homework I figured it out. I do appreciate your response though. I ended up getting an eleaf ipower 80 and a Herakles pro and pretty happy with that setup. getting really nice flavor. being a truck driver the built in 5000 mah battery is perfect for all day vaping without fumbling for batteries. good looking out
I finally got my G priv 2 mod with my x-baby tank that has top airflow and love it. I started using the Q2 coils but the ohms seemed high and and wattage seem rather low so i changed to the X4 that has two coils which i noticed a big change in flavor and a better cloud. Now I'm new to this but for the Xbaby tank which RBA coil would you recommend that would register as a sub Ohm because these are registering rather high (Q2-0.39 ohms and X4-0.31 Ohms) so maybe even though i love the tank and the lack of leaking due to top airflow should I be looking to switch tanks because i DID just order T6s for the xbaby and am hoping that will solve my problem but im guessing ill need to get into building RBAs if i want the best results?
Great explanation. Is an RBA basically the same as RTA? I have actually been considering either the cleito with rta or freemax fireluke with rta as I want the option of buying coils or making them. However, I went into the vape shop yesterday to look at tanks with rba's and the guy told me never to learn to build on an rba, it was way too involved and dangerous. I am currently going through 3 smok coils a week and it is getting too expensive. He told me I need to use a dripper to learn to build. I have no desire to keep dripping and it just isn't convenient. Now ready to completely give up on the idea of learning to build. So, is there a subohm tank you suggest that has good tasting coils that last a long time?
Some online suppliers sell ready built 1.5 ohm wire coils and packets of eko wool or silica wick all at a low price. If you buy a UD W RBA it comes with a screw driver and its fairly easy to fit a coil on it. High Street Vape Shops are all about selling expensive vaping fluid. They dont generally sell rebuildables or know much about it.
Try the Uwell Valarian owned one for months but currently dripping on tvc drop rda great rda like he said over dripping is an issue but thats about it. Valarian coils last about a week not sure about price as i am from South Africa so currency is an issue but over here its about the same price as a smok big baby beast coil. The Valarian has no RBA section so you will be stuck with mass produced coils but i have not found a bad one yet hope this helps Regards from RSA
the Medusa-gEEK vAPE -RDTA Thanks for the vid,,.and thanks for vaping. Im on my thirdmonth no smoking. dONT MENTION THE RAMBLY RAMBLY. THATS NIOT TRUE, YOU DONT GET RAMBLY BRO. YOU KOOL
a sub ohm tank is typically what comes with your mod if you bought it in a kit. you buy pre built coils (at quite the expense (check aliexpress and save some money btw)) so its not rebuildable in the sense of an RBA/RDA/RTA/RDTA
hey man i recently left cigarettes and join to vapers i use 1 pod but i aslo have pod mod and i use RBA coil and i enjoy even more than MTL then i search for 1 device + have atomizer with RTA OR Device with at least sub ohm + RBA in my country i can not find may of device, just i can find famous factory device do you have suggest for 1 vape device with good atomizer
hey guys i have an RDA and RTA, and i wanted to get a mech mod, is it worth it too get a mech mod with an RDTA? or should i just get one with and RDA?, i just wanted to know what youre experience with RDTA's is
Apparently I had a brainfart when I wrote this comment. I've a TopTank mini, which works in 2 ways. You can use the premade coils by Kangertech, when It gets old throw them away and screw a new coil in. They also include a mini RBA deck, which is for the DIY stuff. I was mixing the two. :D
