Liguria, Italian region famous for Genoan Pesto, focaccia, colourful towns embedded in rocky coves, caves and a pretty good deep blue sea.
While modern cities have developed on the narrow strip of land between sea and mountains, old villages and towns still survive inland in a beautiful setting made of olive trees and vineyards. Trails connect this little towns so why not hike in nature exploring them.
