I have run into dozens of RU-vidrs who explore abandoned mansions. But you shine above all the rest. Why? Your scripture verses are always inspiring; your respect for the house as being someone’s beloved home; your sweet tone and quiet voice when you are walking through the house; your enthusiasm and appreciation for every house you explore. I won’t watch anyone else! Thank you for your videos! God bless you!

Seriously, you need to get a respirator from Home Depot or Lowe’s that is rated for black mold. That stuff will get in your lungs and sit dormant. Once it becomes active you are facing many respiratory issues that aren’t likely to go away. They are only about 20-25 bucks and well worth the investment. The filters are replaceable. Please for your future and your health just consider it. 🙏

Ya know... seeing as this place doesnt seem abandoned so long ago, im curious if the mold/black mold was something that is much more serious than just a bit of mold found commonly in places. I ask just bc i had a friend who didnt know the mold was dangerous and really affecting their health and didnt realize it till a year later with major symptoms not realized coming from day 1 with tiny signs like an itchy throat etc. After being told the home wasnt salvageable and was indeed the reason for the entire familys illnesses they moved. Unfortunately, they had finally found a new home and had to purchase or had donated things to them and the new home was said to be contaminated by items taken from the previous home. Long story long, be safe! Be cautious most of all.

The entire lower level including the pool should be stripped from floor to ceiling. studs removed, floors, everything down to the concrete and cleaned thoroughly 'the mold can be removed'. It would cost a lot of money but it can be done. Clean the entire house add add exhaust systems in every room. The home has a lot of potential for someone who has a lot of money but don't demolish it. Get rid of a lot of those trees outside get a landscaper to come in and open the place up, add some lighting, repave the driveway add gazebo in the backyard along with a really nice patio with an area to barbecue a nice fire pit put some heavy duty bamboo furniture that surrounds it, with some string lights that would illuminate the entire area, fenced It Off and enjoy. It would be worth a lot more than 4 million dollars. Come on people use your imagination. what would you do with that property other than demolish it?

It’s crazy that a flood a mold forced the owners to leave.. I’m wondering if they had home owners insurance and if so.. Did they just not want that particular home anymore or what because it’s not making sense to me that the water and mold would force them out.. I would think that their insurance would cover things before mold started to grow unless they didn’t have any..

Just so u know in every home, old home, there’s always a secret hiding place for valuables. I once rented a old home from the late 1800’s, an discovered in a closed off fireplace, stuffed in it was a chest full of gold coins from the late 1800’s.. They were valued at $1.2 million. So never under estimate where things could be hidden.
