Hi all, thanks for dropping into my next exploration where we dive into what use to be the place to go for a break from everyday life, back in the early 1900s. A third of the building is collapsed from constant exposure to natural elements, and the only safe part of the building is locked from the inside. Even though I was never able to make it inside, it still felt like traveling through time.
The property suffered a multitude of fires during its time of operation. And modern technological advances, like the car, made the hotels attention by locals scarce, thus leading to financial struggles. Building maintenance became unaffordable, its conditions went causing the resort to die a slow painful death, concluding its time in 1970, when the resort closed forever.
For obvious reasons, I will not be disclosing the location of this structure, and if you're exploring any property, be sure to respect all trespassing laws and signs. Or make sure you have permission to enter the property. Wear face protection, for most dated 20th century building contain amounts of asbestos.
