Exploring the Historic Fort Richardson State Park in Texas 

We had a fantastic time exploring Fort Richardson. This state is very unique as it used to be a real army fort. Beyond the rich history this park has beautiful trails and plenty of large campsites. We hiked the Rambling Spring Trail which happens to be one of my favorite trails in DFW. We have camped here twice now and will be coming back.
