"Under trained... and sometimes thrown into the deep end of a bad situation without proper gear or knowledge." Old Man, being former US navy: "Wow. Wow! I wonder where I've heard situations like *that* before!" Ah, yes, the modern military.

UIU, GAW, and MCF have got to be my 3 favorite groups. While MCF and UIU have their problems they try their best to do good and help people out. As for the GAW I can respect that they try not to harm people and are mostly just goofballs. To put some things into perspective though, the primary reason for the UIU's lack of success is their lack of funding and proper information. Essentially the UIU is if you were told to deal with a rat infestation in an entire town and given a rusty sword to deal with it. Then the rats can also teleport and are the sizes of cats. What I like about the UIU is that despite being given a rusty sword and having to deal with giant teleporting rats they would still have managed to rid several houses of the rats despite the limitations they are given. They are the underdogs who are given every reason to fail yet still try their hardest and can actually succeeded in some cases.

In short, it's the Budget Foundation. Imagine the feeling knowing your rival waste millions of tax payers money to try killing some immortal monster by the regular while your boys have to make do with regular mundane gears.

(*kooky hammy rendition of the X-Files Theme on a Kazoo*) The Truth Is Out There The UIU is getting justice and credit nowadays (Three Portlands, other things). Similar thing to the Ethics Committee. They're getting brought up to a point that doesn't require an explanation as to why they exist. The Colony is... well, not confirmed, but highly implied to be Sarkic in origin. So, yeah... the UIU is a bigger deal than they're given credit for given they managed to pull this off.

The are ONLY two reasons why I don't think that The Colony is Sarkic: First, Sarkic flesh crafting is done using thaumaturgical rites passed down through the bloodlines. This Angel was most likely a separate entity who reminds me more of The Aristocrats than Sarkic Cults. Second, while Sarkics do often inbreed with one another, they are able to use their abilities to augment genetics to ensure that no abnormalities develop. Most Sarkics appear as normal humans that are found to be inbred only after lab testing. Once more, The Colony having mass genetic defects is also similar to the defects similar to the ones bared by The Aristocrats.

If I recall rightly, the "Men in Suits" are actually a group of interest themselves called "Nobody"

Honestly I would pick the uiu over scp mainly because they get the bland anomalies

a story you might really enjoy is the shark punching centre, or the test logs of 914. i'm pretty sure you know the clockworks, but the actual test logs are HILARIOUS.

Suits= a deep cover mtf or even the council? Not sure why they would interact with UIU members but it’s a thought
