genuinely seems like a troll for attention.

I genuinely think its a troll cause that one “easter egg” clip led him to a Minecraft world.

At first i thought it was real, but he is favoriting comments which call it spliced run or a troll, so seems likely it's just for attention.

i feel like he already lost, he's just doing this now for attention and to spite spiff

I dont mean to be offensive... But usually people with accents like that, dont live very comfortably. He prolly just uploaded the first one, saw people calling him out (spiff giving him attention and views meaning ad revenue) And decided to capitalize on it trying to get clicks and money so he can live comfortably? Or just a straight up idiot.

As he says, it just makes it even more sad, because if this guy actually practiced and tried legitimately, he would probably be able to get a decent rank. The closest I have gotten to doing and speed runs myself was just messing around in Bloodborne and trying to rush through bosses/see if I can pull off any skips, so I don't have much to go off of to be fair

There’s some really famous faked speedruns where top players (in the top 5) submit a fake world record using splicing because they’re frustrated that they can’t get the world record, and since they’re top 5 they are very convincing since they know the limits of the game and use well-known skips

@@tpd1864blake Another good example was that one Super Mario 64 speedrunner who faked a world record (16-star run, I think?) and was only exposed because he bragged about it several years after the fact. Experience helps immensely with both faking runs and getting away with it.

That's why I go back and watch old videos. You can see the evolution of their confidence while recording and how different they make their videos.

@@LuisMartinez-sv1md there’s plenty reason. It would be a very clever maneuver from the dude’s perspective. He gets both views for the fake run and the expose, makes sure the fake gets traction, and gets to be a hero for exposing it. Looking through the comments on poppy woppy the channel clearly knows that people know it’s fake and never even tried to hide it. It’s confusing as to why this guy would even bother with a runner who is clearly not being taken seriously by even himself if he didn’t at the very least want to milk views from it

From what I can see, the cut in the first room with Huggy was to hit the panel early so that huggy already had the key in his hand, to skip the animation where the power fails the first time you try the door

Trust me, speedruns are full of ridiculous things that most people won’t understand why or what they are doing. This is especially true in a new game like Poppys playtime that most people wouldn’t know well.

Well you always have to call out cheaters, or else the behaviour is overlooked. It's important to dissuade people.

@@massimom2542 Yeah. Both from a community and a business POV (SInce Speedrunning does have a legitment business side to it now), cheating is bad and needs to be dealt with immediately.
