@beautifulandbothered look at the NYX glosses. They're still doing traditional glosses, but I think their shades and styles are better. Like ones with mica sparkle and some without. I really like their milky glosses. They're thicker and have buildable color. The nude honey&milk is probably your tea. But the green shade is actually oldly really cool too.
Yeah i dont like lipgloss because of my senory issues but is lipgloss great? Yes yes it is!!! A glossy lip is amazing i just use lip oil and its wonderful
Listen as a Bethany, I like lipgloss!! Short hair means it doesn’t get stuck in your gloss 😜. But yeah gloss and lip oil are not the same and people need to stop acting like they are.

Loved this episode! BTW, as a 60 YO fan I just wanted to drop my opinion of waterproof mascara. Some of us have issues with dry eye or overactive, tear ducks and when your eyes water all day long waterproof mascara is essential. 😊. Hey BB community. This week's podcast was paired with various cocktails because I'm still celebrating getting rid of the Torys. It is tinged with sadness because I should be going to see Stevie Nicks on Tuesday but she had to postpone because she hurt herself. I hope she gets better and has a smooth recovery. Still, to cheer myself up I bought more makeup I don't need and ate my own body weight in Funyuns and Takei's. I hope November goes as well in the USA as our election did ❤

Addiction Tokyo is very reputable and famous in Japan and in Asia. I am pretty sure the founder used to be a Nars makeup artist before she founded Addiction Tokyo. Their blushes & eyeshadows are very popular (and reminiscent of Nars blushes/eyeshadow). Edit: The founder used to be Francois Nars' assistant!

Hi Kevin, I bought the L’Oréal Panoramic mascara last month at an Ulta sale and it’s my favorite mascara, tubing or otherwise! I bought two more at the drugstore! This is one of the best mascara’s I’ve ever used! Thank you for the excellent and honest review! 🙏🏻🥰
I saw an article from allure saying that under eye concealer is out. All I could think is they're up to their buffoonery again! Lol it said that we're embracing our dark circles basically,which don't tell me what to do,or hiding them with bottom lashes or just a touch of color corrector. Oh boy. 😂

I haven't worn concealer since high school, so when I started up again using y'all's advice, I tried several and realized quickly that the middle-aged skin is real. Natasha Denona concealer is the ONLY thing I can wear under my eye...so I wonder why it seems like you guys know and all of the middle-aged RU-vidrs know about the ND concealer, but NONE of these lists ever have it. It's MAGIC. I don't want to know what kind of foul sorcery they put in the ND concealer, but I have WRINKLES, y'all, and ND makes my eyes amazing and does not sit in the creases. So...I really want to understand what the criteria are. I've tried SO MANY, and ND is not just the best, it's the only. Why isn't it on lists like this? Surely, if it works well on crepe-y skin like mine, it would be even MORE amazing on a young person's flawless skin.
Magazines/news outlets judge by ad revenue, not actual product quality. Assistant editing a photography magazine's "Best Of" issue was a real eye opener! I pay no attention to these things now.

Johnny I also wish these lists would feature indie brands. Indie is where I go for eyeshadow so especially for that but in general. I love learning about new products & brands I’ve never heard of instead of (or additionally) the same 10 brands we constantly have shoved down our throats.
Buxom has 2 lipgloss formulas. The lipglosses are sheer, and the lip creams are opaque lip glosses. Same formula with a cooling sensation. You can apply all the layers you want. The Lawless Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss is great. It plumps with hyaluronic acid not burning ingredients. Johnny, Kevin… you need to know this: you are the reason that made buy the Rare beauty lotion, shower gel and essential oils stick and… OMG. As a night owl I that wakes up at 8am and goes to bed a 3am because my brain as issues switching off, I now go to to bed right after I complete the ritual of: full glow recipe skincare , Rare lotion on the body. I love waterproof mascara, even if it isn’t going to get wet it flakes way less than normal. I have Elhers Danlos Syndrome and my eyes def get watery. My absolute favorite is Clio Kill Lash Curling Volume - I’ll never go back; although I miss a fluffy brush for my fine lashes.
Lawless forget the filler glosses are the ones for me!!! I'm sure you've tried them. Also, if you haven't, you both have to try Queen Cosmetics lipglosses (pink jelly) and then also have fun with their sparkly ones 💖✨ I'm obsessed.

I'm the waterproof mascara girl. My skin melts mascara and regular mascara NEVER stays on me and even many waterproof and tubing mascaras just fail miserably on me. I can only wear waterproof (and a few tubing) mascaras. Heck, if I hold a magazine my skin will melt the ink in just a couple minutes. I know... I'm weird, but it's the truth. (Insert endless jokes about me being an alien or demon here. I've heard them all fromfamily and friends.)
Same. And while I am Latina, I have Asian lashes. A mascara must be waterproof or I either end up with raccoon 🦝 eyes or it does NOTHING for my lashes.
