I decided to look at chapter 3 of Joel. Chapter 3 is almost the exact wording as yours in chapter 4. Adonai is changed to Lord, with a few other differences. So, folks read chapter 3 in order to follow his chapter 4.

He is using the CJB which uses the Hebrew reckoning on verse and chapter divisions. verses and chapter division were added to the bible sometime around 1200 AD i forget the exact time, both the Jews and the Christians did them somewhat similar but with some differences. in both cases it was done somewhat arbitrarily and as such can cut off the train of thought with chapter division or verse breaks. neither the christian version or Hebrew version is better then the other. but that is why there is some differences.

Hello! Some Bible versions divide the chapters differently. Tom is reading from the Complete Jewish Bible as he teaches which may not be divided the same way as the versions you are looking at.

When solid messages are preached from the Bible. Proper Bible preaching will get you to the Holy Ghost and then get the Holy Ghost in you. I am interested to know what, in your mind, what "Jesus" was called by his mother as she nursed and cared for him? Without doubt, linguistically the name "Jesus" was not uttered during that time. Acts 8:14-16. In Acts 2, the Jews did it. In Acts 8, the half Jews did it. In Acts 10, the Gentiles did it and in Acts 19, the Baptist folks did it. They all did it because God said that’s the only way to do it. Of the 66 books in the entire Bible, there’s only one that don’t fit in with any of the groups. That book is the book of Acts, because the book of Acts is the only book in the Bible that tells you how to get save. And, until Jesus Christ returns in the clouds to call his church away “1st Peter 2:9-10,” this gospel is to be preached by us to every nation and is still in force today till that great getting up morning when the dead in Christ shall rise first, we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air, so shall we ever be with the lover of our souls. Will you be saved today, according to the Holy Scriptures? Acts 2:38 KJV is still in force today till God’s body, “the Bride of Christ is completed.”

Judaism consists of the observation of a combination of Torah, the Tannakh and the Midrash wiritngs of the Rabbis. Plus the writings of the Kabbalah. Sorry but Christianity is not q continuation of what was in d wineskins. Jesus is the LAW amd its fulfilment. The Word thar was in the beginning with God and became flesh. No one can fulfil the law.
