Lovely video. Thank you. How would you deal with air vents like bathroom fan and Louvre vents please? Do you cover the insulation material in the hole with any material?

I usually leave them open like they are and install a plastic vent on top right at the end.I cover them gist if the client ask me to and i usually use foam or the adhesive without breaking the brick vent all the other filing needs to be done from inside the house and plastered

What is the process if you have a hollow peddle dash section, can you cover it with the board and or do you level it before installing the board

Hi.if take the pebble dash down then that I will fill with some sand and cement

Wouldnt it have been better to use a full pieces of insulation cut into L shapes on the window corners to avoid stress cracks? Also how do you fix items to the wall such as lights and downpipes? Thanks

Hi.its definitely better but not a must.i usually use long screws with raw plugs but you can check my other video about the fixings

how thick is this system when fully installed? i'm thinking of having it installed but i don't want it to extend over my boundaries. Also does it affect condensation inside the property, is it breathable?

60mm tick,yes it will help with the condensation inside the house and it's breathable

Yes they start from 10mm to 300mm

How difficult will it be to change the windows after the insulation?

if you are going to fit them it's not going to be any problem but if the window fitter's are going to do it then you are in big trouble

Salut tinere si bravo pt proiect. Sper sa nu gresesc dar la geamuri nu crezi ca e mai bine sa pui un pervaz din plastic aluminiu etc.. in loc sa lasi asa doar polistirenul?? Spun asta deoarece apa va patrunde foarte usor intre geam si baza pe care tu ai facut-o la geam. Si asta cu siguranta in timp va crea mucegai umezeala etc..

It's always a good idea to check with your council but most of the time its not required . If somone change the look on the house on your street most likely you dont need a permision
