I think at times there are too many accessories. Like how many sets of hands does an action figure really need? Closed fist, open hand...and really that's all one needs. I look at that Deadpool example you showed, is that boxing glove bazooka necessary? Hardly.
if i were a shareholder, and i got dividends and the value of my stock increased, ya know, i would want the company making more money, but that’s business, most people here seem to forget that
Something tells me that the toy makers arent fighting hard enough to put in more. Pay more to get less. Good strategy to push away the consumer, lol Im gonna go with Greedy
yeah, costs and margins are not the same. If a figure cost $15 to make and you sell it for $20, you get 33.3% return on investment. If the cost goes up to $20 and you still demand 33.3% that figure is going to have to cost $26.66, a bump of $6.66, even though your cost only went up $5. we have a business culture that believes if you are not making more than you were last year, every year, you are failing.
@@michaelwelch9123 Exactly. Out of touch corporate shills. The only way they see the light is if ppl slow down or stop on the buying. Im noticing more and more ppl selling off their collections in the groups im in. I dont blame them either.
There's no excuse for the lack of accessories, especially when there's no alternate hands. It's pure GREED. How much is enough for a billion dollar company?
Could you talk about how when you see signs of a toyline being rushed out to meet a date? Like I would say, the ML NWH figures last year were definitely a line affected by rushed a rushed christmas target. - Luke
I don't really care about a set number of accessories. If one figure needs more and one less, I'm fine with that. Better than having a load of pointless accessories included just for the sake of it with one figure then another come with only to when it needed one or two extra.
That example isn’t a 50% margin. If it cost $10 to make and it’s sold for $20 the margin 100%. Scott won’t say he was wrong he will tell us Hasbro and other giant corporations have their own math that only brand managers can use.
If the margin target is, say 50% and the shareholders want to maintain the cost to consumers at $20, that would be possible if the costs remained at $10 for manufacturers. Now, with many toys increasing in price, that should increase the maximum toy cost that manufacturers can spend (say $30 and $15) unless the shareholders are increasing the margin target as well. Maybe I'm missing something?
Yes, the manufacturing budget is going up when the consumer cost goes up in this scenario. The point is though that their own costs have gone up, not that they suddenly have extra cash to spend on more accessories.
Really? Shareholders dictate how much a specific figure should costor how many how many accessories? That's a lot of control. Really surprised anything gets produced with that sort of micro involvement. I should buy some shares and flex my muscles.
@@patrickfurtado4261the jerk that was categorically proven right by the Copyright Claims Board? That jerk? Don’t you just hate when people are correct and act well within their rights to protect their work?
@@ApostateoftheArt It hasn't gone before them actually, Scott hasn't responded yet. But I'm more sure than ever Ethan's gonna win, lol. Case in point, the old version of this shit is still up lmao
Why are you still uploading? Im not complaining, but isnt this what you told Ethan you wouldnt do? Enigmatic boomer behavior will continue until morale improves i guess.
I see you couldn’t be bothered to actually edit out any mention of the whole Figure in Question copyright situation, especially since you’ve definitively lost that fight. I’m sure some lawyers might be interested to see that. What a lazy bum.

Did you misspell prostate or was this like, a commentary on apostasy wherein "The Fart" is your god? Is the face-down ass-up thing instructions on how to worship it?
@@williamwilkinson6665Billy, we’ve talked about this. I appreciate the effort, but this is still a really disappointing showing from you. Cringe joker-posting won’t make the cut here, let’s hope you can get a few more brain cells involved next time. Best luck, cretin.
