Very informative, I only wish I had seen this a year ago! I've gotten a little into bricksmax due to customizable options, and the ability to hide wires. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and did not like the look of the exposed wire. While I was doing an installation with one of the first bricksmax sets I tried, the instructions showed the wire along a headlamp piece (has a hole in the side stud) and I thought " why couldn't I put the wire through bricks instead of in between them?" So if you are willing to, you can drill a 1/8th inch hole through the studs which the connector fits through, and the wire can then be routed through the wall. I know modifying bricks can seem almost sacrilegious, but no visible parts are changed which to me is better than visible wires. I am working my way through Hogwarts Castle now, and have 95% of wires completely hidden. Completely worth it in my opinion.

With regards to broken cables, it is also possible to repair a mid-wire break with solder, but that section will no longer fit between bricks.

You are an accidental (unintentional?) ASMR to me, if that makes any sense? I love listening to you talk... about Legos and stuff 😊

Thank you for covering all the important questions ! Once you start it all makes sense, ok there might be some swearing involved when you cannot connect a cable for some reason till you find out to turn it the other way round, lol. It’s so worth it though. Thank you for all your inspiration!

I trust LightmyBricks the most but they are expensive I mostly buy them for my Technic sets but I would like some to pair with my Star Wars sets.

Any suggestions for inter-plate power connections so you can wire MILS plates and still be able to separate them?

Your videos are great, very helpful. Any idea how your advice applies to vehicle light kits, such as installing after the build is done? Thank you

The only lighting that I’ve ever done is with the original Lego LEDS and fiber optic bricks and I power it with the electric speed regulator box from my 1990s Lego electric train set. I’ve had my Lego LEDS for nearly 36 years and they still shine brightly to this day. Do any of those battery boxes integrate into a model like the old 9 volt or double A battery boxes could? Where you could build on top or on the bottom and have it as a part of your build. That would be nice to know thank you. Happy building.😊

Which brand would you say is best at keeping up with the production of new Lego sets from Lego? Purely asking out of curiosity.

Light My Bricks tends to be a little slower but I think it is because they are wuite a smallish company. The other three are pretty similar. Very quick off the mark, especially with the bigger latest releases.

I just got the Hocus Pocus Lego set. I’m going to purchase the Light My Bricks Lego set. Do I need to setup the lighting while I build, or can I do it once I’m done? Thanks in advance.

I would recommend you build the set first then add the lights. The instructions are based on the set being already assembled and the joy of building it is not something you’d want to interrupt with having to add the lights. That my opinion anyway :)

The sad thing is there's no individual controls of the I'm cable management is p I think in this case you need to go outside the box the Lego box and we sort to regular electronic parts houses like jamco or shinies banggood will you can buy hugs and individual switches are relays but I guess you left p but rather have an individual power packs you can buy a small power supply that has a number of USBS on it and I replace those under the the current profile is probably very and you can probably make up your oppp I'm wondering if possible when the roads and things are built if you can't put some type of little piece of pipe or conduit in to run the wiring underneathwn pp cables if you know how to solder you could shot of a USB plug tie wraps water rides p and all types of things are available for cable
