A CROW PERK! LET'S GO! The scale of this chapter is unbelievable. D&D and Castlevania are the perfect introduction for fantasy entering DBD and God only knows what the next two years will have in store for us! However, it is sad that the last two original anniversaries haven't aged very well. I hope BHVR won't give up on making more down the road. Hopefully there will still be merciful killers that give Hatch when the Finisher Mori is implemented too lol. Happy 8th anniversary, Azhy and everyone! 🥳🧁

I am way to happy about this update but it's just so cool, vecna's power is sick and they added bardic inspiration which as a dnd player myself is so funny

what i would love is that they make survivor cosmetics that are the different races of dnd and thats when dbd takes my money

If last year was the year of sci-fi and digital horror, then this is the year of fantasy and supernatural horror (we’re getting Castlevania!). I’m so hyped

I would love them to add the Subnautica man as just like a one character chapter, it’s basically a horror game and there’s not many ocean like characters. He’s also literally a survivor.

I’ve been playing dbd since 2018 but quit multiple times because I didn’t have time to play + didn’t want to pay 9€ every month for ps plus for playing one single game but didn’t want to start on pc cuz I’d have to buy all the cosmetics and grind the perks and hearing cross progression being added after all those years I waited is so wonderful

What I wonder about cross progression is how specifically it'll work. I am hoping it is something like when ubisoft did it for rainbow six siege, you can connect both pc and console to one account and everything you had gets put into one account. I have my playstation account with 1k hrs and a lot of cosmetics which is also devotion 7 and my highest prestige is 66. But I moved away from console and now only play PC. But I have my huntress on PC at P25, so will I have to abandon one or the other? Because I am hoping it'll keep all your cosmetics and highest level etc. Unfortunately I doubt this to be the case tho, you will most likely just have to play on one account.

Cross progression is at the very least going to get me back for a bit and i've been prepared for this. Everything else in this update also sounds super exciting as well, I'm glad that BhVR is being able to bring things to this community that they have been waiting for, for so long

Overall I am mostly pleased with the upcoming update. I am looking forward to the dnd chapter and the castlevania chapter I’m looking forward to 2vs8 I’m looking forward to the anniversary. The new games seem cool. The only thing I’m not sure that I’m thrilled about is the mori system. I like the idea of the moris giving blood points however I don’t know how I feel about it being base kit and I don’t like the idea of only being able to use it on the last survivor. I like the idea of being able to mori each survivor whenever I want to slap a mori into the offering slot. Overall though this is the greatest update I have seen and I can’t wait to get my hands on the dnd chapter and castlevania chapter

Waiting for a lore expansion from 2019 and with the new games coming i am just super exited

The cross progression news is great, I'm pretty sure my Xbox One is slowly dying, so now I can just get the game on my PS5 and transfer all my stuff to there.

Is the 2v8 game mode an LTM or is it staying? Been waiting for this forever and don't wanna see it go :(

Just to stay grounded, here's a short list of positive changes that have no indication of coming to Dead by Daylight: 1, The health of the game being prioritized, or even understood, by the people making it. 2, Over two-hundred perks in the game; maybe 15 actually good perks on each side. 3, 0-effort approach to dealing with cheats and bugs; placing unreasonable amount of responsibility on the players to test the game. 4, Dishonest sale tactics, which include sneaky shit like saying in a Dev AMA: "oh no, badges and banners won't be PAID cosmetics," then locking 90% of them behind a paywall, labelled "free with purchase." The only reason player are THIS happy about this stuff is because the devs have spent the past 8 years putting as little effort into the game as possible, and so it's like giving a starving man a piece of bread...it's gonna be the most delicious meal he's ever eaten.

Honestly for years now ive been absolutely dreading a 2v8 mode because jesus the opportunity for absolute bull on both sides of the isle with full perks and all the killers is just. Death of DBD level awful. Player base split between a nightmare hellscape of unintended combo's like plague oni or docpig. Or getting 3 survivors blinding your ass because your partner is corralling the 4 gen jockeys across the map. Or the unimaginable combos through glitches. But this sanded down beta mode? Heavily regulated perks and powers? Actually sounds fun

I really don't like the dnd Chapter. Personally I think its a step in the wrong direction, especially through the spells and items against it. I have nothing against cool changes, but dnd is just nothing I want in dbd as a license. More horror icons like Dracula(not castlevania), Frankenstein, Mr Hyde were so much better

According to the roadmap they posted there is a solo licensed survivor in between the DnD and Castlevania chapters so I wonder who the solo license survivor is? I do have a couple guesses/hopes though. 1) another real life celebrity 2) Aya Brea from Parasite Eve (she’s ok to use since Square Enix doesn’t have to go through any legal tape with her since they own her) 3) Sidney Prescott from Scream 4) Shaun from Shaun of the Dead 5) Yuri Kozukata from Fatal Frame 6) Martin Brody from JAWS 7) Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead

ok i might be going crazy or something but fnaf 10 aniversary is in augest and in augest we are getting a licensed killer and survivor kinda like springtrap and micheal afton. it would make perfect sense given that is fnaf 10th aniversary and that they are gonna be doing more colabs on their 10th aniversary

I really hated how when they announced only the first 5 killers were available in 2v8 people in the chat just started spamming L. Theres a reason its only 5. With all 30+ killers, it would never work and never properly balance
