Extro' "Dandy" shave soap - Folsom&Co "Shambala" aftershave 

I hope your parents are okay in FL . The rain started over night here in west TN . I think I'm spoiled with the great soaps out there . Last time I used Proraso Green it disappointed me . So many incredible soaps now . The shave looked great . Glad the Razor operated better with more comfortable blades . Nice to show the broken in knots . Thanks Michael , have a fantastic week !

My dad's side of the family in Texas is affected by Harvey and my mom's side in Florida is affected by Irma. I just can't believe both sides of my family are affected by two hurricanes. But just so you know, I'm still with my parents and my family in Chicago and some of my relatives live in Florida and Texas. Thoughts and prayers also go out to those affected by an 8.1 magnitude earthquake that happened in Mexico a few days earlier

Hello Michael, Dandy is an old production and was made with the cooperation with TFS. The new recent production, for example Positano or Pirata, are totally produced by Extrò. I reccomend you to try the new Extrò soap because they are very different soap and in my honest opionion are better. Bye.

I have many books on the subjects of the para-normal and supernatural. "Shambala" seems like a soap that will fit right in with my eccentricity. :D

Finally you're trying "Extró" products!! They are my favorite! I suggest you to try some of them like "tabacco", "Espezial" and more...including their After shave of course!! the quality of the "Extró" products is fabolus and Donato is a great artisan Maestro! Thanks Michael P.s. Probably Dandy is not great for you, but every extró soap are different, made with different ingredients so they must be tested! for example "tabacco" is perfect for my skin

Ok, I was impressed with the Positano. This new formulation is something special. I don't know if it worths the money, because with 5-6 euros more you get the Icarus base from DG. But I enjoyed it. You may want to find and try the Tabula Rasa. A German soap, very rich in ingredients and very dense lather!

Oh, by the way I use the Kai in a Rockwell with plate at 2 or 4. I've also used it in an Above The Tie R aluminum which Ive just purchased about 1 week ago. I do prefer the The Rockwell though.

Hi Michael, I know everyones experience is different but I have been so impressed with the Kai blade that I would have to suggest you try it again, maybe from a different package. I find it smooth and very sharp and will last me at least 6-7 shaves. I happen to also like the Voshkod a lot as well, but I do prefer the Kai. Thanks for your vblogs.

Miss Folsom, I've been holding out on mine like a miser lol. I dig the Donato series, although it seems they're doubling up on Extro aftershave I already had in redundancy.

Well, I guess it perform like any TFS produced soaps: Figaro(s) Razorock Abbate Y La Mantia Mondial Focus Early Extrò production If you liked one of those more than another, well, some change in routine and some placebo effect might come in :) I even read people finding differences between Zì Peppino from Razorock, Mondial green tobacco (tabacco verde) and TFS Tabacco verde: they are the same soap.

Good video Michael. Question regarding boar or badger brushes. Do you soak them prior to use or do you just make sure the bristles are wet?

I like your videos, Michael. Out of curiosity do you prefer natural or synthetic brushes?

For the KAI blades I think you have to reconsider. My skin is definitely more sensitive than yours and this is very true, but even on ATG I didn't find them so harsh for my skin, although they are as sharp as Feather which I hate. So I think that the problem for bad shaves is not the blade IMHO. As for this soap totally agree with you. Kinda foamy, thin and no good protection. And in my city (Athens) is very expensive! 16,90 euros. ALmost like Varesino.. Figaro GOld costs 7 euros. Do you believe it? . Holy Cow. Hahaha for the towel! PS: Hope and wish the best for your parents Michael, hope they doing just fine. Tomorrow will buy R41 & Haslinger Marigold soap. I will write to you my impressions especially for the "Beast".

Michael - I am confused. When it come to the soap. Do I remove some soap and place it in a different bowl before I start lathering. Or I use the soap recipient itself?

You said that this soap is a reminiscent of gold Figaro.
