So, hi everyone! I just wanted to share a fact. We are all at minimum, 50% better looking than we think. Why is this? It's because when we look in the mirror, all we see is our physicality, and especially any imperfections or annoying changes that come with age, hormones, etc. But when other people interact with us, they see a combination of our humor, intelligence, compassion, spirit and looks. You are beautiful, waay more beautiful than you think. Happy new year!!! ❤️
I find that I'm content when I look in the mirror. It's only when I see myself on photos or video, from other angles that I get disheartened. My mirror image is better than my real image.

I watched this twice just now. Unfortunately, in the last couple of years (about age 70) I've developed these "bags", more prominent under the left eye. I think I remember a previous video of yours that lightly touched upon this but wasn't specifically dedicated to this technique. I've been trying to watch myself when applying concealer under the eyes and not apply it on the bags. It's a hard habit to break, but I am working on it. Thank you, Wayne, for this more in depth tutorial.
The first thing I see every morning are my festoons, they started at 50 and I’m now 60, they come up and down throughout the day, some days are worst than others. I use a cold roller and under eye patches to minimise before going out. I will try this makeup trick though so thank you for sharing.
I had filler done for my under eye area by someone notoriously skilled for that specific problem and it's taken 10 years off. I was scared i'd get sausage rolls but luckily it was done perfectly and you can't tell at all (dermatologist in Belgium in case you want her credentials). Also want to say I have been following you from the start and just LOVE your no-nonsense, in-depth knowledge, charm and taste. Your brushes are amazing too. ✊I've learnt tons from you and i now try to incorporate the things you do that i admire and respect so much into my own little channel. Love you always Wayne ❤️
I work shifts and also had sleep problems often living on 3 to 4 hours sleep a day/night, so after many years I started to get dreadful eyebags. I read that if you raise your bedhead by 6 to 8 inches in time they would slowly go, so I found a few thick paper back books and gave it a try and they did!!! Sleep problems are sorted out too I read about weighted blankets so bought quite a heavy one, which felt kind of odd but I almost instantly felt myself decompress and have slept much better and for longer ever since.
Wayne, you worry too much. You are very good looking and I’m sure your eye bags are not even noticeable to other people. Sometimes we have to remember that nobody is perfect, and you have taught techniques to many people that use them to better their appearance. I like your videos for being honest and personal and very helpful. Thank you!
It just popped into my head the time I emailed you a makeup question about my acne. You have maybe 5k subs. I think I was like 20 years old, I am 32 now! You answered and even made a video about it. Years ago I ran into your youtube channel when I was looking for exactly this. It has always been hard for me to hide my eye bags... hereditary. I have had eye bags since I turned 13!!! Imagine that! So I just want to send you lots of love because of that first video. I saw one when you got filler...and Now I see this one... and it just makes me appreciate you even more. I too hope to find a non filler/surgical solution. I tried the Thomas Peter Roth eye firming cream. It firms the under eye buy I can't used makeup under or over it. And if it overdries there is a white residue you have to constantly moisten again. I feel your frustration in this videos because as a 36 yr old... I shouldn't be struggling for years over this. But makeup helps, your techniques help, and in the end, the day goes on and we keep living. 💗
Drinking water and NO salt in your diet!!! Throw away the salty chips! Also ice cold spoons out of the freezer gently place on your eyes and if not allergic, rub cold aloe vera gently under your eyes am and pm. and of course concealer and make up, This has helped me a lot !!
I have inherited my dads awful under eye bags. Surgery is my only fix. Drink too much water, and you'll end up hospitalized with low sodium levels. I plan on having mine fixed by a doctor. No one else is touching them.
thankyou for this post, as I have hit 50 I have woken up to these bags under my eyes and I agree, I dislike them immensely as they tend to age me quite a bit... I am going to try this method and see if I can try to hide these... fillers are sounding really worth it right about now..
I have them and I really really hate them. I can do my makeup beautifully then I see a picture of myself ant kapow! There they are.... they make me so sad. I’ll defo for sure try this. I use a cold roller on them when I have the time and that helps a lot. Keep mine in the fridge. It’s not a permanent fix but it does help with the puffiness xxxx. Love ya xxxxx

Dear Wayne. I have the same exact problem…have you heard of the Morpheus8 RF device? My doctor recommended three treatments, I’ve done two and I think it’s making a difference. The heat is suppose to shrink the puffiness and get rid off the bags. Painful, but I think I finally found something that is making a difference for the better. Love your videos ❤️
Great video! Based on extensive research, a long lasting fix likely requires lower blepharoplasty and some tightening of the skin with a CO2 laser afterward. Some surgeons will not require general anesthesia depending on their skill and what needs doing.

I have hooded eyes and dark circles under my eyes. I like putting lashes. The video on winged liners helped but does not help with dark circles under my eye. Hope you can make a video on how to fix it.
Roc Multi Correxion Even Tone + Lift Eye Cream makes a big difference for me. However, I think I will try your highlighting technique along with the eye cream.
Wayne you look great, but I understand your frustration. There are treatment for these things without going under the knife. There is pretty advanced estethics today. Try hifu 7d and plasmapen. These are only few of amongst many other treatments that exist in the market today. Good luck and thank you for your teachings. 😊
Oh Wayne I have the exact same problem and it really really bothers me as well like badly. I’m gonna try this technique. Shame they don’t do some type of magic cream that takes it away. Hate the skin under my eyes. 😣

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) works amazingly under the eyes and it uses your own blood plasma. Your blood is drawn and put into a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma from the platelet poor plasma and the blood solids. Then (after a local anesthetic is used to numb the area) the PRP is injected under the eye-make sure your provider is trained to do this with a cannula for best results. I’ve had it done; it generally requires 2-3 treatments and will require repeating over time, but the results are crazy good and I like that they are injecting your own blood plasma rather than anything foreign into your body. Not cheap either, but DAMN, the results!
I just saw learned about Sculptura and it apparently helps with the bags. It's non surgical and makes your body produce its own collagen. Results are long lasting. You can watch Dominique Sachse's April 28th RU-vid video to learn more.
I believe those places are what Jones Road eye pencils are for, or at least work well on. Do you agree? I not only have those dark circles, but I also have the puffiness between my bottom lashes and the circles or dips where you’re applying the lighter concealer. What should I use for the puffiness? I’ve tried so many products! I’ve tried creams with caffeine and so many others that never work.

Sometimes they're a fatty deposit and it takes surgery to get rid of it. Thyroid disorders can also cause it. I've had them all my life. I have a thyroid disorder. Unfortunately, treating my thyroid hasn't helped. I'd like to get surgery but it seems foolish to go under the knife for cosmetic reasons. Thanks for the video. I shall try this.
RF Microneedling has significantly improved the texture of my skin around the festoons which has made a difference - my other observations have been that lowering salt -coffee-and alcohol also assist with the improvement of appearance - I have also switched to sleeping on my back ( was not easy) and that too has helped with over all appearance-I do apply retinol on the areas and around also to try help- I have faith that soon a non-surgical approach will be developed- I am so glad you addressed problems with fillers - as I have seen some disasters- I never tried, thank goodness. I have those, too, and I feel some days they are worse depending on allergies, sodium intake, sugar and carbs which make me puffy and make me retain water. I was told to sleep with head elevated and do some lymphatic massage in the area. I am not interested in fillers, either. I will keep an eye out for solutions in the comments. Thank you. 💫💜🌠
Mid face lift with fat transfer. You are the same age as me...its a ball ache I know. But this is what I am looking into...by the time you fork for filler a few times you may as well bite bullet and get the surgery. Scars concealed within the lower eye lid.
@Wayne Goss I suggest you take a gander into PDO threads very minimally invasive, your completely awake and no down time. They are made of ingredients that already exist naturally in your body. The threads are absorbed by your body, which in turn stimulates it to produce more collagen. They're absolutely amazing, so many things can be done with PDO threads it's insane. Also, go get some vitamin k capsule; any pharmacy should have them. Keep them in the fridge take one out at night and poke it with a needle and place the gel under your eyes it helps a ton with the puffiness and discoloration as the under eye area are filled with capillaries
Try face yoga, i cant ensure you the results, I've started doing it few days ago , but for me it makes sense, the facs is just one part of the body, it has muscles so training these muscles to gain more volume and toning them plus good massage for sure will make a huge difference in the face appearance in the same way training the rest of the body muscle can change completely the body appearance
They are caused when the natural fat pads in our cheeks reduce. This is commonly associated with weight loss. There is a procedure that can take fat from another part of your body, render it with your own plasma, and use derma penning to introduce it over a few sessions into needed areas. It’s no invasive on the face, but the fat removal from another part of the body is a bit more invasive.
Retinol helps a lot but takes time to see effects. Try to avoid products that contain Hyaluronic acid. I had the same issue after fillers. Wish you all the best.

I wonder if you have any advice on how to deal with marionette lines. I am absolutely blessed to have no wrinkles on my face at 54 but them. They are so difficult and I have shied away from lipstick lately so as not to emphasize them. I sure hope you can help with my issue, I really miss lipstick.
I have horrible malar festoons, and unfortunately, a surgeon thought she could correct them. Its a mess! I ended up with fat injections that accentuated the festoons, and not only are they more prominent, they are also uneven on both sides of my face. Thank you for these hints. I've looked everywhere to figure out how to minimize them and this is the first instructive video I've seen. So, thank you! I too would like to know of non surgical techniques that can actually minimize them, but thus far haven't found any. If you recommend a specific brand of concealer, please post it. Thanks again!
In the same boat as you and also don't want fillers or surgery. The security camera at my bank shows you a screen with your image on it and my image shows black stripes under my eyes like football players. Bane of my existence!
I love your honesty with not wanting to go under to get it fixed. It's really aweful for you, and heavens forbid you already may have to go umder at some point. Best to save it for when it's crucial. The body and brain never comes back the same from doing a "hard shut down"
I hate mine .. I’ve tried to conceal but find it doesn’t work that great . I’m getting laser done in a few weeks .. Malar bags are fluid retention and caused my ageing process, sun damage , heredity so my doctor advised . If the laser works I will let you know 😉
Hi Wayne, do you still use your ZIIP? Way back when, you inspired me to invest in that device when you mentioned a friend of yours had noticed the difference in your face. I do think microcurrent works well to help lymphatic drainage and minimize the under eye contours. My problem is keeping consistent with actually remembering to use the device on schedule. Thank you for talking about the negative aspects of fillers. I agree that they can drag the face down more over time. I live in California and so many younger women have these hugely filled cheeks, lips and jawlines now. It isn't a cute look, in my opinion. I prefer aging gracefully with the help of great skin care. I have the roller stones in my fridge that I pull out and use. I literally cannot live without a good under eye GEL patch (ones that actually adhere, aren’t overly saturated and not paper towels etc). And I have my phone set for making a good sleep schedule. If I miss one of these, I can tell. I have had people tell me to get a little filler under my eyes as we loose skin density over time. I just haven’t trusted anyone yet to do fillers. And if I did, less is more would be the rule.

I did find this video very helpful, but for more than one reason. I am 49 and definitely struggling with hollows under the eyes. I don't want to mess with fillers either. This video made me feel so much better about my own issues. While some of it is because I now have a technique to try, a lot of it is because of you yourself, Wayne. You have so often repeated the mantra of embracing aging as part of life, and the gift we have of still being here when so many are not. That really stuck with me. I also realized that while you are really bothered by this it is certainly not as noticeable to others as it to you. That is also reassuring - since I feel like you look amazing, so maybe my own eye bags are not the first thing people notice about me.
