Not related to someone who is visually impaired or affected by conditions like this myself, but these videos are very educational nonetheless, your content is wonderful, keep up the good work.
Back in my mid twenties (I'm 48 now) I developed a black spot in the center of my left eye... its started as a pin point but over a month grew to block out all the central vision in that eye. Looked EXACTLY like MD. I went to my eye doctor and he thought I'd torn my retina and immediately sent me to an eye surgeon. This guy was SO rough. He used a freakin popsicle stick and went over my top eye lid... pushed my eye down, then under my bottom lid and pushed it up. The pain was excruciating. (I was also mid migraine) He asked me what I'd experienced for head trauma. I told him I'd never had head trauma. He said you had to have... the only way this was possible was I had severe head trauma or was very elderly. Apparently the outer layer of my eye separated from the inner part (in the back near my optic nerve)... and pooled with blood. He refused to believe me... but it was ultimately irrelevant because he said my body would just heal itself...reabsorb the blood... and itd be fine. I am. I have a hair line floater left over from it but otherwise I've never had an issue with it again. 🤷♀️ I still have no idea where it came from or how it happened.
