This fella cracks me up. Hes do e this before with their star players. I'd be fuming if my chairman was saying this stuff. Mind you, I do agree that i'm suprised no ones taken him.
@@LegitScott Agreed, but there's a difference between getting rinsed and paying a fair market price. It's his job to get the best price of course, but it's also the job of any other club chairman to not pay over the odds for players. If he was for sale at a reasonable price there would have been more interest, that's just common sense.
@@Nite-owlI'm being the devil's advocate here because fundamentally I agree with your good point, but tbf his release clause is about £60m so it's not like the negotiating with the club is a massive issue at all really. Idk if other clubs are trying to avoid the release clause to sign him for cheaper as his contract runs down, but from what I know they're not.
@@seanbevan2768 Fair enough bud, I wasn't actually aware he had a release clause 🙂 £60m doesn't seem overly excessive to be fair, Transfermarkt have him at 55m Euros, but they're notoriously low on values IMO.
@@LegitScott75 mil for guehi 😂😂😂 I’m a Newcastle fan and thank **ck we didn’t pay. GREED. 1 point 3 games played 👍 We’ve got 7 points 3 games and he thinks he’s got a team of superstars. Deluded to say the least
He’s not. He’s trying to inflate Eze’s value so that when they inevitably need to sell him (cause player wants to move on or they need the money), they get good money. He’s got a contract till 2027, so they’ll want to sell him for big this next summer. The closer it gets to the end of his contract, the less they can sell him for and the liklier other clubs will wait to get him on a free.
This man is delusional 🤷♂️ Thinks hes got a team of superstars when he hasn’t . They’ll finish 13th watch. I’m a Newcastle fan and I can’t stand this guy. Guehi 75 mil is he mental. Wow!
A fair market price for Eze would probably be about £65m but Parish would probably demand about £85m which is totally his prerogative but I’m not sure what he’s trying to achieve here by saying he’s ‘astounded’ nobody came in for him, because he would just price clubs out of him with unrealistic fee demands.
One of the weirdest chairmen I’ve ever seen. He will of tarnished his name by the way he went on with the Guehi transfer, constant media interviews to try and get a bidding war (which failed) and he’s trying to do the same here with Eze, trying to get clubs interested early before January/summer. He’s a total clown. He literally rejected £70M for Guehi who’s worth £40M at best. They will be lucky to make even half of that next summer.
You upset that a Black man like Wilfred Zaha wants to build Black wealth, so he uses his brother as his football agent and that, upset you? @@lordyrich
Yet he wants Crystal Palace to play in the Champions League. He is better off keeping Eze and let Eze help take the team to Europa Conference League first. It's good to be ambitious but you gotta attract the right people to help with your vision. But selling Eze and Olise in the same transfer window would have been a HUGE mistake.
Don’t think I ever heard a chairman talk this openly about selling players like wtf is going on here? It should of been, we are so happy we still have them here etc we don’t want them to go anywhere. Mad!
You want to play champions league football, but you’re advertising your best players for sale? This is why football is not as competitive as it was in the Premier League. Away from Man City, it seems like the club owners aren’t too fussed about progression
Eze ... Mateta ... nketia ... Wharton ... DECOURE ... kamala ... LACROIUX ... Ghehi ... Munoz ... Franca ... LERMA ... Chalaboure ... Hendo ... that is a Top Side ... watch this space ❤️💙💪
Regarding Brighton tho they are not shameless but smart. The buyers are the ones that are dumb, including Chelsea for that Caicedo money. Brighton is the Benfica of England, a very well run business masquerading as a football club.
Lack of interest because of ridiculously inflated demands of the club or simply refusing to sell players such as Guehi, so why would anyone but the most desperate want to deal with them!
So he's been with the club for 100 years, okay. He doesn't try and sell his players, he's just open on negotiations. If you thought he was bad, then how bayern operate in the market would make you cry.
As a chairman of a club to be advertising one of his best players this way is shocking and gives the fan base the wrong vibe , a few days ago he was saying he wants Palace to be the place for top players to play for . Greedy fox
thank god we didnt sign him for 70 mill for guehi thank you parish for keeping hold of him that would have been a disaster of a deal for us we dodge a bullet 6ft short centre back that's weak in the air not great on the ball sideways pass merchant they played 3 games so far and he costed them 3 goals each now yeah good luck selling him for 75 mill parish and thank you
I don't like all of this as a Palace fan. It reeks of him just trying to bank as much money as possible rather than try to retain the quality in our squad and push to qualify for Europe etc which is what every Palace fan would love
these little terrorist clubs like Palace who put obscene prices on players are the ones who ruined the market. Bigger clubs should stay well away from them and stop letting clubs like this hold players hostage for insane prices like Eze, Guehi and Wharton. Desperate to sell Eze but do you think he's going to sell for anything under 60m? No chance. Guehi they rejected an offer for 70m who isn't worth anywhere near as much. Only way to try and fix the market is to stop dealing with these clubs and ridiculous valuations they slap on players
This clown talked himself out of a sale. Guehi is over-rated and over-priced. He has to look after his club, but he really screwed up....also, what Premier League results have you had with superstar Guehi in the side, Stevie?
English players are predominately solid mid-table premier League players. However, they are overrated and the media does it for engagements and then cash out on their downfall.
