This week we are fitting a Dream Intercooler, PRL High Volume Downpipe, Milltek Exhaust and HKS Boost Pipes to this FK8, which already has an Eventuri Intake fitted. We run it on the Dyno, alongside Josh's FK8 from our previous video and another FK8! We hope you enjoy!

It would have been nice to provide before-after dyno readings (atw) to have an idea what one can expect from those mods and what a stock engine produces.

what is the difference powerwise with another ic/ intake itself what is more worth it performance wise? I'm currently running hks legamax premium exhaust k&n panel drop in filter and hks downpipe and wondering what i would benefit the most from

e85 is the most effective basically high octane maxes out the stock fuel system around 400-420whp bolt-oms make about a 25-30whp difference PRL600 turbo will get you to 490ish whp on 91 octane/conservative tune

Sorry I know you guys are putting effort into the channel but I really find this video pointless. Just putting some background music over the work getting done provides no information to us. It would be nice to know exactly why you would want the mod you are applying and explain it through, and also some dyno figures affer it was installed, also some sound clips of the new exhaust would be helpful.

I must admit I was a little surprised when the end of the video had some dyno runs of unrelated cars, and no information on what power gains were made from the parts changes and tune.

The cars make similar numbers with similar mods 350whp tune 380whp with downpipe/intercooler/intake 400whp with race MAF and turbo inlet Those numbers can go up a touch with better fuel octane but MOST guys will hit these numbers with those mods. To really go over 400whp safely youll need fuel system mods and then you can make 430-450whp on stock turbo with 105+ octane Engines are just air pumps - each mod is to either flow more air or make the air colder (denser) for more power Larger intercooler flows more and cools more - removing heat from the air charge = more power Downpipe flows more - engine breathes better and allows more cold air into the combustion chamber = more power front pipe = allows more flow/same idea as downpipe Intake with larger piping = flows more air/less restriction/quicker spool 3.5" race maf increases scaling so the computer can correctly read the increased airflow over the sensor.....stock sensor is smaller and gets maxxed out/confused about too much air Basic mods/basic concepts that apply to all cars/turbo cars Air pump - more air in = more power = more air out to move or risk a traffic jam coming into the engine, robbing power. This is why the exhaust on turbo cars are huge or removed almost altogether - max flow Intake manifolds also get bigger to feed the cars air - more airflow = more power Air + fuel + spark = bang = power 1/3 = heat 1/3 = twisting force 1/3 = exhaust gasses to push out Turning hot gasses into power is what a turbo does to recoup much of the lost potential of a normal engine operating
