Here's an F1 onboard lap at the Bend Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend in Australia. This hotlap is driven in Assetto Corsa with Daniel Ricciardo in his F1 2020 Renault R.S.20 (RSS Formula Hybrid 2020).
The Bend International Circuit was used for this Formula 1 hotlap, at a length of 4.9km, this track was opened in 2018.
This track has an FIA Grade 2 certification, but there have been rumours that this track could be a potential host to the Australian Grand Prix if Melbourne doesn't happen in the next few years.

It's actually an okay circuit for F1. When I saw the long track map I wasn't so sure about it, but this shorter version would be just fine in F1 (probably the racing would even be better than what we have in Albert Park)

The long one probably over the 7 km limit right??? (Spa got dispensation because it's classical and actually only over by only 4 m, dunno about longer Bend)

@@SturmZebra13 the layout is interesting, but it wouldn't be good for F1 racing, I'm afraid. We'd have less laps, less chances for overtaking

@@Turigemo The owners of The Bend were bidding for the replacement race in Australia in july 2021 if the covid and the politics died down but they only got worse so no Australian race at all. The circuit can have multiple layouts. The owners also love F1 they own a Mclaren Senna GTR with Senna's late 80's F1 livery.

Great lap. One of the most requested race track here if I remember. This track looks very good and ready to host F1. There are rumors that it could host the Australian GP as early as next year. I hope so because it's always great to see new tracks on the calendar. Awesome job MITSOS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

They should consider racing at the Adelaide street circuit actually. But if racing at Tailem Bend means no Albert Park then I'll be happy with that. Albert Park has been a terrible track and undeserving of a grand prix

That's the GT version, I think if F1 were to race there they'd use the International Circuit layout

Those tracks don’t have the correct fia grade however it would be great for me if f1 went to Newcastle cus I live there and it would be an incredible challenge to the drivers

Hello Mistos, you should try the Concepción del Uruguay circuit, it is quite nice although the loophole is pure grass, but the forest in the background and the main straight look very nice

At this moment, it doesn’t look like the Grand Prix will be held in Melbourne next year as Melbourne has been in lockdown for 6 months. I doubt that will ease to the point where 100k people are allowed within the confines of the track and they will never host the race without fans like in Europe.

If F1 start racing there, the first thing they will to do is rebuild the pit exit lane because it's dangerous having the pit exit lane in the racing line.

F1 should drop Albert Park for this. Melbourne cant sort their shit with Covid.. or their population so bring the race to a ready made, Grade 1 track in South Australia.

You should try thruxton in the uk it is a very fast circuit (actually the fastest in the uk) and is usually used for touring cars and british F4 you should try it out if there is a mod for it

This track is only 90 min out of Adelaide and is in the same state as Adelaide and this track would produce better racing than Adelaide

I actually like it and i think it should replace albert park,but idk if in real life the track has grass run off i checked it on satelite and it looked very ugly (the decorations ect.of the track)

probably that the satellite images are outdated, and since the track is only a couple of years old, its likely that the images were taken before they actually had grass lol

i mean the max length for a f1 track is 7km (spa is 7.004 km but it only 4 meters of differece so :/) so they probably will use the international layout if they decide to race there

$50 for one track screw that the entire game is less than that and many people put much more effort into much bigger better tracks for much less. Very greedy stuff from the Shahins like they don't have enough money already , they have no shame.
