That '98 all black Arrows is so good, one of my all time favourites. The '00s Orange sponsored looks were really nice too. Plus, I forget they started at my hometown Milton Keynes (or Bletchley to be more specific), now often known for Red Bull (who are based on the SE corner at Tillbrook which was Stewart's base when founded in '97).
Fun fact. The remaining copies of the 2002 Arrows chassis, the A23, were bought by Super Aguri and with a few minor mods was fielded by them in the 2006 F1 season
Torro Rosso would race as far as Canada against the A23 Chassis, meaning a Team that descended from ArrowsF1 would go on to race against a car built by the same team, but under a different team.
So what really happened was Stoddart got to own the rights to 2 different F1 teams at once, sell them on after a while, and then watch the new owners fight again several years later
Was very sad that Damon couldn't defend his title with Williams. However Arrows was one team that had pilots that you really wanted to get over the hump, but never got the breaks with regards to reliability throughout their careers, like: WARWICK, PATRESE, CHEEVER, DANNER, SURER, ALBORETO... and a few I'm sure I've left out.
To be annoyingly precise, the Aroows FIRST livery, for the Brazilian GP, was actually in Varig colors, Varig being the Brazilian National Airline Car was stunningly all white, with the trademarked Blue Varig colors........best livery they ever had Great video, like all of the other you make, anyway, mine was just a little comment, great job
Gotta say Arrows were one of my favourite teams, starting in 1997 because Damon Hill went there. But I always loved the look and livery of the cars. The A18 is a beauty, likewise the A19 is stunning. Actually the A23 is on of my all time favourite F1 Cars.
For me the most awesome car from Arrows was 1997. I really like the look of the Car and also his Sound. And with the World Champion from 1996 Damon Hill was the Ultimate Couple. U could see what was possible with the Yamaha engine and the Driver. It's still my Favorite Car Driver compilation. With the number 1 and 2 on the Front. So awesome. And how he fly on the Hungaro Ring. May u can upload mor content from 1997 Arrows
The Arrows A23 from 2002 was a true zombie in F1. In 2003 Minardi bought two A23 chassis for testing, with the plan to race an updated version under the name „PS 04“ in 2004. However, these plans failed to materialize due to the lack of pace in comparison to their own PS 03. So they took the best parts from both the A23 (or PS 04) and the PS 03 to create the PS 04 B. In the late 2005, Super Aguri bought the remaining chassis of the A23, ran tests with a basic car under the name SA 05, only modified with a Honda V8, changed some aero-parts to fit in the rules of 2006 and ran the car for half the season before introducing the SA 06.
Former F1 fans: were excited about a new season. Versatile cars, challenging tracks and great driver personalities. Todays F1 fans: curious about the livery.
@@warwickbull5559 I think so too although whether they survive beyond 2002 would still be a doubt. Frentzen wasn't a lot quicker than Verstappen and the loss of income through sponsorship was quite substantial..
Arrows had a big error to send the team at Tom Walkinshaw and Before alliance with Footwork (The brand has screwing for Fuji as Middlebrige and she has sended in 2001 an Australian concurrent and 2012 resend with 140 millions austalian dollar of debt. After i enjoy the livery debut and mid 90's of Arrows
At first I never got the idea of Arrow make there own engine in house (1998 and 1999) with there resources. But the more I read en watch about the it looks like Arrows hope that a big engine manufacture will support this engine. There are even talks about Volvo. That would be funny to see Volvo as an engine in F1.
Arrows had their biggest debts during those years trying to build their own engines.. The Supertec engine in 2000 was the best engine they ever had imo... Now imagine the 1998 car with the Mugen Honda or Mecachrome, it would have been podium contender...
@@VinsUplifting If you look back @ the1998 season reviuw you clrearly hear Tom saing that they want to build there own engines and hoping for indusrty support.
Love the fact that the 2002 Arrows car got a second chance in life as the 2006 Super Aguri F1 car. Reborn and mated to a better engine (Honda) than the Asiatech lump of sh*t
