You re welcome buddy, that is a great feeling, I remember when I did my first and the excitement never stopped at every next swap. Don’t hesitate to ask if you run into any issues
There is only one bolt on the driver side , the front drive shaft have to be removed for access, the passenger side are 2 nuts and their studs are just part of the passenger side engine mount
@@loverboyken2860 the are many differences between 4.6 and 5.4 that will make the swap a challenge, I know that the flex plate will need to be replaced, you will have to replace the ecm but on a 2007 there are so many other harness envolved that may be different. It is possible swap but I don’t know if it is worth the headache. I was curious myself if there are other differences I looked on a forum and I did not know that the exhaust manifold are not gonna line up with the exhaust. Here is the link I found: www.f150forum.com/f11/4-6-5-4-swap-21764/
@@loverboyken2860 that swap is more straight forward. A 2v to 2v swap is like a 302 to 351w swap The 3v has different electronics and makes it more tricky.
That would not be wise of a swap , definitely agreed with you. Sorry about the way I titled the video I meant both engines pulling are the same procedures .
I swapped tons of engines but honestly I’m the kind of mechanic that will pull extra to make the job easier, I would have pulled the cab if I did have a 2 pole lift
