This is the correct part. Ford updated to the V2 as you see from the dealer. This was done to help with the warping issue on the exhaust manifolds. Hope this helps. There are many aftermarket manufactures that have different designs to cope with this issue in different ways.
that's what I was going to say, unless you upgrade to the new manifold or an aftermarket manifold that utilizing more studs you will keep breaking studs.
That's really horrible 😞. I would bet That's the reason why it was in stock. Cause someone placed the wrong part in that box 📦 🙄 and people keep returning this shit. They don't even care so long as they sold it to someone and made money.
I will say the one guy at the service desk did his best to help me out and found the old part number at another dealer. Two mechanics even were wondering why the part was different 🤦🏼♂️ oh well, glad to have it resolved and my truck not ticking again.
