F250 6.4 Powerstroke Rocker Assembly and Fuel Injector 

I have heard of that although I would think you are still making the wrench very slightly inaccurate that way. By moving the bolt/nut left or right of the wrench by X degrees its changing the torque slightly, although very slightly. Maybe ill do a video testing this theory!

Honestly I can't remember 100% to give you an absolute answer, but I think its possible. Just remember, once you crack those lines-- they are dead to you. Throw them straight in the trash. It ain't worth the rectum pain when they leak!

@@USAF99 all went well. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought they would be! Funny thing is my truck had 6.0 arms without the oil holes! It's a Ford reman. 3 years old.

Preventative on a 200k engine. Bridges for the pop, rocker arms for preventative maintenance. Already there, might as well.

USAF99 thanks! I have an open circuit code on that injector. Runs ok. Slight miss and loss of power. Trying to get down to it and locate problem. Thanks for the reply!

@@diamondhcattle1697 it's fairly straightforward to replace that injector. Passenger side is way easier to get to than driver. Make sure you replace the injector line from fuel rail to injector, dont reuse the old.

Nope, its pretty easy. Degas bottle and fuel cooler/turbo piping have to come out but that's easy.

Its smoothed out after the fuel bubbles subsided from having the fuel system open.

If all you are using is an extension, there is no need for torque conversion. Even if you use a wet noodle for an extension, the wrench wont click till the head gets to the set torque.

I thought it was the offset of the crows foot that alters the tourque reading and not the length of the handle.@@USAF99

@@kayjaxnblondie It is. The OP was asking how to calculate for an extension over a socket, which there is none needed. If the pivot point is offset, as in a crows foot, the force applied is greater because of leverage.

In an effort to keep the video a watchable length I declined to add that to the video, against my better judgment. They were worn both on the rocker arms themselves and the bridges they make contact with, albeit just enough to catch a fingernail on. As we know, small changes at the valvetrain = magnified changes at the valve seat. Since these heads don't have brass guides in them (Its steel on steel) it also helps keep the valvetrain geometry right by doing this.

@@USAF99 can u do the whole 6.4 community a favor and show the wear and what was the runni g condition before and after. Such as sounds at idle acceleration full throttle stuff like that. I'm gonna do mine soon but I'm just curious if u had any symptoms you didn't realize until after the repair
