Great format - I love how it shows the different possibilities of all those beautiful fabrics. I found I gravitated more toward Fran’s selections because I like the stronger contrast. My favourite of the day was Fran’s green quilt, and I’m not even a big fan of green! 😅
Donna, love your quilt patterns and your fabric choices are pretty but all of Fran’s choices were my favs. Love this challenge type video! Please try one with “ugly” fabric?

I thought this video was GREAT! I really liked ALL of the quilts.....so it is hard to pick out one favorite! I liked this new format.....it challenges me to think of the possibilities!
I'm new to the three yard quilt for you and friend Donna so I just like all of them and you have given me so many different opportunities to try different things and I made a one of your quilts and I gave it to a person for a birthday gift and she loved it she loved the lap quilt so keep doing what you're doing I watch you as much as I can thank you thank you thank you
Really liked this different format and I seemed to like Fran’s color choices more. But enjoyed learning how to use different colors and patterns. Do this again, please!

Hi Angie, the funny thing is, that although I taught Fran to sew, she has a natural talent for selecting colors that are awesome together! I learn alot from her! Donna
Please do more of these challenges; because it opens our eyes to more fabric combination choices. Sometimes it is the pattern choice that makes the difference ; other times the placement of the focus fabric regardless of the pattern. The more variations we see the more we learn.
It was fun! I really enjoyed the sample fabrics in quilt blocks. Mom won I liked three of hers and two of yours. They are all wonderful and it wasn’t easy to choose! I would enjoy another show like this one every once I awhile. Thanks.

I never get tired of watching your videos. Just love how you match all of your fabrics. I am a cat person, cats always make sure they leave their fur all over your fabric. I also love wild animals, so nature prints are always nice.
I have enjoyed this video so much. It’s always fun watching the two of you interacting. You have such a warm and natural relationship. Each fabric combination was gorgeous. I cannot imagine why any of these fabrics could have been “left behind”. I seriously cannot pick a favorite because each combination was so unique.

Loved them all, but Santa Fe and Natural Touch were special. Santa Fe made me think of Tucson Az. sunsets as soon as I saw the fabrics together. Lovely.
Again, both of these quilts are nice. This time I prefer Fran's best. Town Square is one of my favorite patterns and green is one of my favorite colors.
Do more! It helps people not be afraid of choosing colors. Light, medium and dark. Love your laying out over on an existing quilt block to see how it's going to look.
Super fun and enjoyable video!!! I liked all of the colorways. It is amazing how different the same quilt pattern can look, just by changing up the fabrics.

Love the two of you together making the video! You seem to have lots of fun working together! Frankly, I do not have one that is a favorite....i loved all of your choices. But I think my favorite of the “trouble-some fabrics” or hard to match up fabrics would be the one with the dots and curvy lines using it as the #2 fabric.. Donna made Happy Days and Fran made Mod Memories. Both of the quilts made with that fabric were just so pretty. Both of your choices made that fabric just sing! Love them! This is a great idea for a video. Please do it again. Thanks!
I loved Donna's first quilt along with the pattern. I also have the same fabric, but haven't used it yet. On the second, third and fourth ones I liked Fran's pick. The second one I loved the green's in the fabric. The third one I liked the purple and blue fabrics. Same with the fourth one. I also loved how you show how they are stitched together, and how they would look when sewn together. Please do more often, because I like to see what fabric's compliment each other. Maybe a batik challenge, along with an ugly fabric challenge. I am also a cat lady with 3 cats, and a feral one that has lived in my back yard for 2 years.

Great fabric combinations ladies. Love to see the different combinations using the same focus fabrics. Love your books! Especially like that you can make multiple sizes quickly. Thank you for inspiring us with these videos.
Yes, pls, do more. #1. Donna #2. Tie #3. Fran #4. Tie again, but I loved Fran's 2 and 3 fabrics with the floral in the quilt sample more than either. I like both dogs and cats.
Please do this more often, it is so much fun! Now for the voting. I couldn't decide on the first one, I love both! I have to say, my taste is very similar to Fran's. While I like both quilts, if I had to choose 1, I would have to go with Fran for 2, 3 and 4. Sorry Donna!
