Taylor, "me too!" I am a product video producer and have been involved in product names that all or most would recognize as household names. Sean's video here is by far the best value for solution seekers I have ever run across. Can't think of a single reason to click down on this one. Certainly this was meant to be a hi level How-To, not the exhaustive How To on his Facebook and RU-vid live. So, anyone trying to add important tips he missed, yeah, he didn't remind us to mute our phone. I could come up with about twenty-five tips he missed without even using my office whiteboard. Hitting every tip or step was not the point of this video. What part of "..8 Facebook Live Tips" didn't they get?

Thank you Sean, I'm so overwhelmed, I didn't think anyone was ever paying attention to me I made my first live stream on one of my Group Pages with in 2 days over 5,000 people watched it and started another Fan Page and in 2 and have days over 340 people joined. I wasn't expecting that to happen. And I look at the videos I am so embarrassed

I am a complete newbie at this and I want to do a Facebook Live where the camera looks at me for the intro and then I switch to my worktable/surface to demo the art project. Is there an app or special software I can use? In Zoom, I can spotlight my work surface. I don't know how how to flip to the work surface in FB Live or RU-vid without awkwardly moving the cell phone off of me to face the work surface. Thanks so much for your great videos and direction.

I livestream on RU-vid on my iPhone and cannot find a solution to the camera going in and out of focus. I was told I need an external camera app to solve this problem. Is there a free app or other solution to this problem?

I have done several FB lives. I go back and realize that I have said "um" way too much. This can be very distracting. I am working on not saying that. So, my tip is to avoid saying "Um." I love this video! Thank you so much for these tips!

Hey Sean! I enjoyed watching your tutorial on FB lives. I just recently did a 21 days FB video challenge with Helen Martin and am feeling so much more comfortable in front of the camera. I have promised my audience to do one video per month and this month is scheduled for March 31, 2019. I really look forward to working with you to learn more. One of the things that I would like to do eventually is to make a FB Live video using pictures and a voice over for part of my video. I have no idea how to do this:)

Love the Video, great tips, and value. I've only done one "live" so far, and I've got a lot of improving to do. One tip that you could add on the technical side, would be how to flip the image so that everything reads correctly to the viewer. That's what I was looking for when I came across this. What a super video! The tips are so helpful. I tried my first FB live video today, and I rotated my phone to landscape orientation. However, it posted "on its side". I am searching for information on how to avoid that.

They say you can't change that once you've gone live (and that you have to open FB on the horizontal to begin with). I, too, did a FB Live, thinking it was correct because it looked right on my phone! I've found--if it doesn't rotate automatically, if you swipe the white bar from the side to the bottom, it closes the app, but once you open it again, it's at the bottom of the horizontal view. That means it will be horizontal in all places. The WHITE BAR SITTING AT THE BOTTOM seems to be the thing to ensure. Hope that's helpful.

Great tips! Thanks I have a questions. You say the stream should be done from the business page. I presume that could also mean a Musician/Band page. BUT... does this mean when you stream LIVE, only people who have "Liked" your page can see it? Is there a way to expand that? I have about 1500 FB friends, but only 200 who are connected to my Musician page (some of them are not connected to me as FB friends). I want to be able to stream live from a music group page that has many thousands of people connected. Thanks in advance for your response.

The link on your band page will be public, so just share that on your personal page when you start (as he mentions in the video), and all your friends there can see it and share.

Hi :) Thank You for a great and helpfull video. When I stream live from my iPhone, streaming is always only in 360p resolution. I have turned on the „send video in HD” in the settings, but it didn’t help. Is it normal for streaming from the mobile? Is it possible to stream in 720 from mobile? Thank You

I had a funny experience the very first time I did Facebook live. I was talking about inflation and all of a sudden, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck. The car was moving sideaways and I got a little dizzy. I deleted it because the content was no longer on point. Will explore it once again soon.

Was searching for mic problems. Using an android phone with a new Shure MV88+ Mic/video kit (directional mic on a stand similar to yours)... Its not connecting to facebook live (sounds like sawing wood/distortion) unplugged it and use the phone direct it was fine. I see a lot of info for iPhones .. any suggestions. With all that said... i watched your complete video anyway..... EXCELLENT TIPS and Im new at this. Great job!

Thanks for the video! A question - I’m having a problem with FB telling me to rotate my phone. I want to shoot in landscape mode so I’m trying to start off in landscape / widescreen mode w my iPhone X. I’ve done three or four successfully so I know it works. But like 90% of the time I try a new one it tells me to rotate even though I don’t need to rotate. I have to try over and over and over and then sometimes it magically works in landscape mode. FYI - I have my phone clipped in to a tripod so I feel it’s stable. Any tips? Thanks !

I am legally blind and I am currently live streaming. Think Media tutorials have really helped me so thank you. I started the channel three weeks ago and currently have 300 subscribers. Is there any way I connect with the company. for more advise?

Thank you for this. I teach people how to monetize their Facebook pages. But I'm not really comfortable doing FB lives or even showing my face in the camera. I guess I have to do it eventually.
