I like where OBR are headed. The reason I collect this army is its ancients(Helenstic to Chinese) aesthetic. Having rules that match that theme will be great to play with.

The Mortek Crawler does not even have to cause damage for its strike last effect to activate. It just says you have to target the unit. So for no command points, you simply target a unit with Crawler 1, roll the 3+ dice (if the Ossifector is near, which he will be). If you fail, target a second time and roll the 2+ dice. Super powerful. So I see all armies having 2 crawlers and the Ossifector as auto takes.

damn stalkers have swords around the size of a human and probably the striking power of a roided gorilla and does as much damage as a peasant with short sword 😭😭

How did they know to feature the specific units I don’t have 😭

I'm excited for this preview. I never played my OBR in 3rd edition because I didn't like the 'big guys only' version. I want ranks of mortek backed by wizards and catapults. Looks like that might be a 4th edition option.

I'd like you to take all the thumbnails for these faction reveals where you're facing slightly different directions and pointing and put them all into the same picture. Bonus points if you can make it look like The Last Supper

It's probably one of the armies that benefit the most from the added CP of being lowest drop and then they want a hero alive for battle trait and have a very appealing siege that is an auxiliary, list building will be painful

They hurt stalkers so much. The more and more they reveal the less and less my excitement for wanting to play

The stalkers went down from 5 wounds per model to 4 so per unit 15 health down to 12, then worse still the falchions had damage 2 now damage 1. So this is a shame for that unit, especially if Katakros and other centre piece models are going to play a big role in this edition because you could see this unit being in a detachment (or whatever they are called, general plus 3 units) with them. However, that said, lots of options for playstyles should mean many viable list options and a high skillcap for the army. This is going to make collecting a wide variety of models super fun because of the combinations that are possible. Cheers for your review!

I know you've been saying this is the centrepiece edition (for good reason) but I think the other side of the coin is that this is the small support hero tax edition. You need them to unlock regimets and units and a lot of armies base their abilities around hero auras. I think it's a tax because a lot of them aren't great in a vacuum and are very easy to kill with the new 3 inch range and shove through mechanism.

Another missed opportunity to make bone pope a first ever death priest. Control value and dmg 1 on stalkers is a joke. Those guys are beefy and should have idk , maybe more attacks? Otherwise, 21 I have will remain dust collectors :)

OBR were my quarantine project. I have since sold them to make room for other things, but boy would my friends be frustrated when they would work so hard to knock the unit down and I would almost bring it back to full strength the following turn I’m excited for the new rules.

Have you gotten news on Lords of Change being 2 cast, or basing it off Kairos being confirmed a lvl 3 wizard, or its current version? My poor heart will break if its lvl 2

The stalker losing one health and doesn't have the big sword profile kinda sucks. But the rest of it seems really good, Vok being useful finally is exciting, instead of sitting on shelf for 4 years.

I started playing obr as a new player at the end of season 3. It was mad confusing and I lost like every match. Looks like season 4 will start the same way? 😢

As someone who doesn't play OBR, I think the new RD(p) changes are good. Also I don't want to fight vokmortian that dude seems like a buzzkill

What you also missed it that you can technicly buff the crawler to 5s exploding hits. I have a pretty big obr armee so im kinda hyped for them. Also i dont think the Stalker looked to bad they definitly decreased the dmg for the no ward ability but having exploding 5s on these shouldnt be too bad

surely crit(2 hits) means you get 2 extra hits, so 3 total, as then crit(1 hits) would be just normal exploding 6's, so doubles up effectivity to a degree but may just be reading comp and it starts at 2 but need to re-check how crit (x) works on older leaks

Probably my least favourite of the death armies due to having a bit of an unclear aesthetic, but great preview vid all the same

Not a fan with undead where gw are with aos. The undead are meant to be parodies if the living relying instead or fear and terror. They shouldn't have access to strike last abilities or be particularly well disciplined and shouldn't size up to a mortal in combat.

Stupid faction. I dont even remotely care about this. Keep up the good work👍
