Then add better walls and consumable defenses like barbed wire or electric fences that you can set how much power goes in but the more fences the more power for the same damage
Nice. I never would have thought of powering outposts with transported steam. Also didn't know you could take out of trains at an angle. Great design but I'd add like 2 layers of dragons teeth and maybe a couple of radars. Personal preference though.
The dragons teeth are required now, or a secondary wall at 17 blocks from the main wall so that the lasers don't get coated in acid. The new biters are a nightmare on deathworld settings.

In real life you can store heat using molten salt. Its used in some solar projects, I choose to believe that a few hundred pounds are put in an insulated tank, add water and seal. then transport to your base. When you tap into it later, instant steam. But yes, transporting steam seems like an oversight. At least make the players use pipes.
Здорово! Но только для развлечения)) т.к. для захвата/расчистки территории, это сильно трудозатратно. Во первых проще делать ж/д сразу с энергией и строить саму ж/д так чтобы её не переносить. Во вторых сейчас есть пауки)
With no Oil being produced, it would be fairly easy to run out of fuel for the flamethrower turrets, and with no other sign of fuel source, the solar panels will only supply so much power. So while this is awesome, it's wholly impractical, not to mention those bitters looked once or twice to be in a position to be able to break through those walls.
oil, and steam are transported and dropped off for continual use, solar panels needed I agree I think there just so the radar can work without steam. the bitters stop after a while since it kills all the bases this video documents the initial purge which will be largest attack it would ever see. Anyway, this forward post looks like it for initial clearing before more permanent settlement or sports shooting.
