We got them at my school, but for one of them the RESET OPTION was missing when clicking into that Support Menu. So it doesn't always work. And, since resetting it also won't let me make a recovery disk.

Help! Just got a Surface Laptop 3, when I try clicking on reset pc, it will show the two option to either local install or cloud install for literally a half second, then a message will pop up saying that I basically can’t reset the pc and it only gives me an option to press cancel. Is there a work around?

I tried this and when it got to the reboot stage where the screen says "Just a moment" with the progress circle and it has been stuck there for 2 days now. It won't turn off or anything.
