Man I wish you could make more informative videos like this with other fades. Like tapers etc etc! I know you probably a busy man though but this video really help me, I started Barber school 2 months ago now and this is by far the most informative I have seen because we can’t use guards(purple) on the board test!! Keep it up homie, RESPECT
I'm a student and I've been really struggling with bald fades but the way you broke the haircut down gave me an "ah ha" moment I'm looking forward to trying this tomorrow at school!
I’m a 59 y/o barber apprentice. Best fade video I’ve seen. Had 3 military guys walk in 2 days later. Banged out all 3 with my best skin fade results yet. Thanks William for your tutoring.
I know you've seen this several times, but you make incredibly professional and informative videos. Very impressive. I have learned more from your videos than the many dozens out in the web world. Thank you for what you do and for sharing your incredible talent. Please continue to keep us all well informed and educated on proper technique. Many kind regards.
Hey Will, Just wanna say thanks for this Video. Ive watched many over the years and this one is really clear and precise. I do a lot of classic cuts and have always faded with adjustables. To be honest, my fade game left me wanting more. Ive adapted this technique in the last couple days using My Octanes and dude! My fades have never been easier or better. New levels are a real joy to reach even after cutting for so many years. Be blessed my brotha as you teach so many new people. Excellent! Thank you..Vinnie Todd
This is such a good tutorial! I just graduated cosmetology school and the salon I work at does a lot of men’s cuts and I swear I stop breathing every time someone says they need a skin fade...I’m excited for the next time. Thank you so much! ❤️
i've been watching videos for hours trying to figure this out and you explained it perfectly. Nailed my son's haircut just about perfectly thanks to this informative tutorial. Thank you very much!
Thank you will. This is probably the best educational video I have seen on the fade you make it easy to understand with your complete communication. Thank you very much and congratulations on your success.
I appreciate you for posting this video. I’m a left handed barber and it’s nice to watch another left handed person cut hair. I don’t have to try and mirror it when watching a right handed person. Everyone says it’s the same, but body positions and hand position is different. Thanks again!
this tutorial is phenomenal the way you demonstrate your techniques love how you explain as you go most tutorials i see have nothing but music and talk overs and dont really explain the whole cut not yours can tell that you really feed off your craft i have a detachable my barber back home gave me just last week when i went to visit her but story short when i got and get my cut by her its always with a detachable clipper she says because shes a traditional barber and thats what a real old school barber uses
Man I have been bald fading my own hair at home now for two many years to count. I tried the technique from the video and it came out the best I have ever done. Thank you for sharing for sure
Will Stamm....you’re tutorial was excellent!! I just went over those steps today in Barber’s College. The explanation was outstanding, clear and concise. Stamm the Man!! That info happen to be just what I had been looking for.
Thank you so much Will for this video. I'm a new student at this and I get flustered and frustrated easily because I know precision is important and I'm afraid of messing up anyone's hair. Not everyone can teach but you have the gift. This helps me with my class. Thank you again. Wish I could meet you. Love and respect from the Caribbean.
Since quarantine I’ve been using this video to guide me in fading my husbands hair!! This is the best video I found and the way you explain it makes it so easy to understand! You are definitely good at teaching!
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!!! I have been learning for a year now and this is by far the most informative instructional video I’ve seen. You pointed out everything perfectly! I love how you would constantly repeat what you did.
Wow, this was great. I still haven't gotten the hang of fading with detachables, I usually go back to my adjustables. I am going to try this. Thanks for the clear directions and no loud music while you're talking.
Thank you William Stamm for making this video I've watched it about 20 times. This is the best video for detachable clipper cutting on the Internet. Great job. I was wondering if you can do a video with detachable blades, bald fade, with long hair on top?
I definitely believe your one of the top if not the top barber I have come across on here. Your craft is very clear and your explanation is on point, not only that but the overall cutting you do shows skill and precision. I look forward to the rest of your videos you hit points that a lot of barbers don't make and you explain every reason for it at a wonderful pace keep it up man 💯
This was so helpful! I’m not a barber but I do love to use the same clippers. I’d love to see another bald fade but with a longer pompadour style on the top. I’m having trouble connecting long to short.
the best explanation on youtube and what i really appreciate is that will keep it simple and make it easy to understand thank you for that and i m looking forward for the next videos
Dude, I used my new Oster 10s on a fade today. I watched this video probably a week ago and used what I learned here and it turned out fantastic! I’m still in school and haven’t done many fades at all but this one was leaps and bounds ahead of anything I’ve done so far. Thanks for this tutorial - it helped me a LOT!!
I'm a father of 5 boys, and haircuts are very expensive. Because of this, I cut the younger boy's hair into a caesar; however, my older boys go to the barbershop which is about $80 per month. Anyway, I've been watching dozens of videos on RU-vid in an attempt to learn how to fade, and I must say yours has been the most helpful and most informative. Just wanted to say thank you.
Will Stamm ,you're good educator you should be on one of biggest company has there's educator like Wahl or andis & Bayliss (Con air) is like you're me personal teacher one &one Man one day wen I make it to the top wich it will i personally shake your hands and tank you 💈💙
I went to barber school and this video was better than the instructions 's I received there. Great video, great work. True professional. Been a sub for awhile, this shows me why. Keep them coming brother!!!
You truly are a master barber keep up the great RU-vid videos you make . I keep coming back to your videos all the time. Still waiting on you making an updated video with the wahl clippers and wahl guards if possible thanks and keep up the good work you truly are an inspiration to us new barbers trying to make it in this profession.
very detailed and professional "how to", its clear you put lots of work in to the video so thanks for that! In the UK not many people use detachables, I can't find any seller that does the 1 1/4 and 1 3/4, so i have to bust out the taper clipper when fading. I do feel the detachables cut the hair more even for sure!
thanks u explained everything and simplified it. other barbers just talk to much shit and not explain exactly what and why what there doing thanks again
Best tutorial on tube for reals. Step by step not no fast video. Slows everything down and shows technique . The other barber tutorials low key don’t want you to come up lol good stuff man. Thank you!
Dude! Been on here for hours trying to figure out a better blend for bald fades using a classic 76. I have problems with blending the foil bald to the hair. You are the only video that actually showed me what I needed to do without buying more Clippers! Thank you!
