Since it is meant to be set in a medieval fantasy setting he should have gone for the now legendary “Hellorld!” that Usagi Electric pulled off on the resurrected Centurion mainframe.
@@sittingstill3578 not just the mages... it's been shown that a few sword users are arrogant too. even the MC's sister although she's the least arrogant sword user cause she still cares for her brother.
@@DarkFrozenDepths yeah, she doesn't care about her brother because she's less arrogant, she's just less arrogant because she cares about her brother. the point being, anyone who likes the mc is portrayed as a hero, while anyone who doesn't like him is portrayed as a villain. classic isekai with 2D cartoonish villains and perfectly justified MCs. I'd like to say fiction is wild, but honestly that's just how fiction is, it's fiction after all. then again, a lot of real people could be considered "2D" as well... some historically accurate movies get flamed for having "cartoonish villains" even after their villainy is majorly downplayed just for the sake of making the movie safe for children to watch, or to at least be played in theaters.
Muscle head sister with a brother complex...and what's up with all the food names? Tho it's a wholesome story so far, a part 2 please, the "misunderstandings" are giggle worthy fun.
I'm calling bull on him being an incompetent swordsman! Perfect memory means he wouldn't need to practice his sword Style and just focus on physical conditioning.
Most likely his body is just not the type to bulk up like his dad's, genes like that are often passed through parents. Some people can simply bulk up more then others naturally with little effort.
@@anelbegic2780 true. His father has insanely high standards that he is genetically incapable of achieving. But as seen when he rescues Ice Cream, his memorized Technique is far superior to normal swordsmen.
His “physical conditioning” did not go well. (He wasn’t even at the dining table, fighting for his share of protein; can’t grow good muscles while eating so little)
few complaints here (personally) 1 mans has perfect memory. how is he weaker than everyone when he can memorize thier style and overpower them with skill. 2 its kinda sad that i watch an entire hour of this and i am so unfulfileld with how sad its remained. all 56 mins is no one giving a shit, treating him like shit and telling him hes shit and hes alone unrecognized. 3 maybe its the pacing but why does it feel like he hasent really shown any improvement. he learned magic. was on par with strong fire magic. he shunns swordsman ship yet magicians dont accept him. cmon. it was sad all the way through.
Knowledge and ability are two different things. "Dad" has great ability and years of practice and training. Durendal spent much of his life doing house chores instead of training. So a bit of a vicious circle where Durendal got further and further behind his peers despite his knowledge.
@@twotone3471 I suppose actual experience is important but between actual battle between him and sibling and parent I feel he should've been a BIT closer
So if you are weak you get less time to practice to become strong? This father is just evil, enforcing a system specifically to oppress one person and keep them eternally under foot.
I like this story, I like main boy DURANDAL, he’s bright, kind, has a great memory ability, responsible, & a prodigy with magic, and so I hope a Part#2 gets made.
this author: "the first thing a person saw when they were born will always be remembered vividly" the entire isekai cult that kidnaps and tortures every new isekai author to force them to write about infants as crippled blind deaf mute slugs that can't even move or make a sound for 2 and a half years on average: 😠💢💢
Dun is a bare metal computer programmer doing his magic in assembly language. He’s a Jon Carmack (of Doom and Quake fame) of his universe or even a Master Ken from the CuriousMarc channel that can reverse engineer any circuit regardless if it’s digital or analog.
