Failing to Pay a Fee 

The plaintiff says he was the real estate broker on a property the defendant rented, but he’s refusing to pay the broker’s fees. He won’t stand for being cheated, so he’s suing. The defendant claims he paid first and last months’ rents, plus a $1,000 broker’s fee, and now the man wants more. He says the plaintiff has pulled this kind of thing before.
