I have wanted to try one of these for a really long time and I was lucky enough to get this one locally. The Meet Maude is a lo-fi analog delay with a few handy features. It’s one of the more unique pedals I’ve had the chance to try out and I think it will be sticking around for quite some time.
The internal micro-switches allow you to control feedback, time or both with an expression pedal (and other CV). It can also be configured to use an effects loops with a TRS to 2x Ts cable.

Definitely the best demo of this pedal on here. I was almost sold on the thing and this did me in. Unfortunately I'm also sold on the Mercury7.

Beautiful demo. That stuff with the Meris is tonally on a level I have not really heard before. Like a shimmer but fractured and approaching the choral patch on the BigSky without announcing itself quite so obviously.

Thanks! I love the Meris reverb, it's one of my favorites. I'd still like to try out a Big Sky though, they seem really cool.

hot damn the mix 100% wet w/ modulation and pulling back from shortest time @5:20, so cool. by far the best demo vid on here. also really wishing I didn't get rid of my instant lo fi junky to put in that effects loop

Great video my friend. Would love some advice. I’m looking for a great analog delay to add to my acoustic guitar. I’ve considered this guy versus delay llama xtreme vs any other options. I only play rhythm with some very minuscule leads. I’d prefer something I can tuck under my strumming. Unfortunately we don’t have a store in my town to try cool boutique pedals hence I have to trust your opinion. Thoughts? Thank you.

Jose Delacerda This is a great delay with beautiful modulation. If you need something simple, the carbon copy is a good choice. Try and buy used on reverb!

aBunchOfPedals so I just bought this a few days ago. She doesn’t seem to place nice with other pedals when stacking. It takes a very discrete balance between the volume/mix knob and yet I cannot master it. It seems to decrease the volume of the pedals after it drastically. Maybe it’s me but not so sure I like it. I want to. I’m not a fan of the carbon copy to be honest. It’s a bit dark and repeats muddy. Other great analog options with modulation you suggest for the purpose of stacking delays? As always thanks for you wonderful help

If I did put a reverb in my MMaudes FX loop would it work even when the Maude is not activated?

That's a good question but I don't remember 100%. I'd hate to tell you the wrong answer so maybe it's best to ask the company directly.

That is a very deep sounding texture the one you achieve in this demonstration, thank you for sharing! .I have a Meet Maude, and Event reverb unit, I have a question. In that set up of loop effect, each pedal ends up having and output? I'm sorry if the question sounds silly, but is not that obvious to me. :) thanks again for sharing :)

Hey! Glad you liked the video. I think I understand your question.... The delay repeats are processed through the Mercury 7. So it goes OUT of the Meet Maude, then INTO the Mercury7 and back out INTO the Meet Maude so the repeats have reverb on them. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick response, It did help, but the reason I asked is because of the two cables I see coming off the Mercury 7, I assume one is connected to the Meet Maude, but I'm not sure about the other one :) Thanks again!

Ah ok, I see where the confusion is :) The OUTPUT of the Meet Maude FX loop (black cable on the left side of the pedal) is a TRS connection, basically two lines in one plug, it's stereo. That cable splits off into two different TR cables (one line per connection, they're both mono). So that's just a Y cable.... 1 TRS > 2 TS connectors. So to answer your concern... they're BOTH connected to the Meet Maude. Instead of having two separate jacks for the send and receive, it's just one connector. How's that :)

I don’t think so, pretty sure it’s just a send and receive. Check out the manual on their website, definitely more info than I have stored in my limited memory lol
