I understand what you mean by having a a hard time distinguishing between and idea in in your mind and God’s voice. I’m always so nervous to take the wrong path, and I still am especially for big decisions, but I’ve learned to always trust God. Trust in Him that He will lead me towards the right path, and trust myself to Trust and hear His call.

I loved this video Sophia! You have a lot of good advice :) I’m Catholic so we don’t share every belief, but I think you were very well spoken... unfortunately the loudest evangelicals in this country are white southern conservative men, who a lot of people don’t like, but I’m hoping more people start to see Christians how a lot of us are; not claiming to be perfect but really trying to live our lives for Christ like you are 💕 I’m so excited for more or your faith related videos

Just a quick question how do you feel about the Catholic Church hiding the priests who have committed indecent acts upon children, and then moved them into different diocese to cover what gross acts they have done to them? In France this is anywhere between 200,000 and 350,000 times over many years, this is just in France.. I live in the Uk and to say it’s been hushed up is an understatement! The Catholic Church has a lot to answer for in Africa as well the spread of aids due to contraception or lack of the use of? I can speak of this abuse first hand as I was abused by my local church and school father , he was moved to a different area and has since died so is immune from any prosecution.. I wonder if he confessed his sins would he get a free ride from into heaven while a friend who was abused at the same time was so traumatised took his own life.. Now would my friend get to heaven ? No not after committing suicide , how is that right? Please let me know your thoughts on the subject or anyone else for that matter…. Thx..

Me too sis! it took me 15 years (i'm 16 now) to understand that Christ died for me to live for him and not myself. I always say that just because you're family is Christian doesn't make you as an individual a Christian, it took me 15 years growing up in a Christian household to actually and fully accept Christ into my heart, spirit, soul and home.

Hi, many things that you labeled as "new age" teachings such as astrology, manifestation, the law of attraction, etc. are derived from Hinduism or Buddhism. Earlier in the video, you said that you respect people of other cultures and religions, so labeling these practices as demonic seems wrong to me. If you do choose to make a video on these topics please do research and educate yourself, so you don't offend or wrongly speak about another religion.

Hey, just to preface this: that was very well worded and respectful and This reply is meant to be just as respectful to you as you were to her. I’m not speaking for her or anything and I actually haven’t watched the video yet lol. but I just would like to say: I think one can respect other’s religions, but also have a differing opinion. I’m not sure how she said it because, like I said, I haven’t watched the video yet. But because of my own religion (I’m a Christian), I believe that what the Bible says is true. Having my only context as your comment, I think those beliefs of astrology, manifestation, etc are false and even sinful if you take part in them. But EVEN STILL, I respect others beliefs if they do believe in stuff like that. Your belief is your choice. but for someone to voice the fact that they disagree with you isn’t disrespectful (unless they say it with a negative connotation), but most will POLITELY disagree. I just wanted to say that to shed some light and voice my own thoughts on your comment. I really hope this came across as respectful and polite. If it didn’t, you have my sincere apologies, being rude and picking a fight was not my intent. I hope you have a lovely day💕😊

Cussing and using cuss words is something that i feel a lot of people are unsure about but I definitely believe that 'Life and death is in the power of the tongue-PROVERBS 18:21' and words hold value so whether you are using it jokingly or to be mean, i strongly believe, not just from a physical standpoint but biblically that it is wrong

I've learned in my walk as a Christian that when you ask questions like 'is this a sin?' and say things like 'I dont think this is wrong...' it's better to stop trying to figure it out and step far away from the fine line between sin and God's way ad not have to wonder. Also... I think everyone can agree that cussing is a worldly thing and God said to not conform to the standards of the world. I hope this helped:)

im a christian as well (currently a calvinist but wanting to dabble elsewhere) and don't agree with you on everything (mainly the sex/dating stuff) BUT at the root we are one in the same - it is by God's grace we have received salvation through Christ, by no merit of our own. that is the Gospel! thank you for sharing, Sophia

@@kiarahodgson7606 Certainly!! So for me, I grew up with the same idea that we should be dating for marriage, that we shouldn't be dating people we couldn't see ourselves marrying. But through reading ("How to Get a Date Worth Keeping" by Henry Cloud is great, and he is a Christian author) and exploring I learned and adopted the belief that dating is about finding what you do and don't like in a person. What fits and what doesn't so that someday you DO find the right match. I think there's a lot of pressure that comes with dating for marriage, and a lot of rose-colored vision, especially in the Christian circle! To break up or stop dating a person can feel shameful or bad, and so people may stay together just to seem like a good Christian. So, I date for the purposes of getting to know myself better and understand the kind of person God wants for me. As for sex, I think that it is indeed a beautiful, special thing created by God, but I don't necessarily believe anymore that it is explicitly for marriage. This is something I'm still trying to work out and understand for myself, but I think the shame, guilt, and hate sent towards men and women that engage in "premarital sex" is harmful and make sex IN marriage every more awkward, scary, and painful. There's a really good book by Nadia Bolz-Weber called "Shameless" about Christianity and sex and breaking feelings of shame to better understand this topic! I hope this was helpful and made sense

I always felt weird about the manifestation and law of attraction. It made me uneasy and now I know why. I never got into it thankfully and I know it did seem kind of demonic because we should follow gods path. ❤️
