Your porch looks beautiful! And you are right, you don't have to spend a fortune to make it festive. Mums are short lived, pumpkins are displayed for a few short weeks. There is no need to overspend in order to achieve this look. I am older now and over the last few years have greatly simplified our decor and honestly, I love it so much more!!! And right now so many are struggling just to pay their bills and put food on the table. This shows them it is okay to reuse decor for several years, buy smaller mums, and be content with that. SO many RU-vidrs go wild changing ALL of their seasonal decor/holiday decor every single year. It is foolish, it is wasteful, and it makes people feel inferior. You are so down to earth and make your home so welcoming without breaking the bank. You are awesome!

I buy mums every year. When the blooms are spent I dead head them and they will bloom again. When the season is about over I cut them back and plant them. They always come back huge and beautiful giving me plenty to cut and bring inside. They can handle fairly cold weather, but where I live it doesn't get too terribly cold. I'm sure that helps. But I always encourage people to plant them. You may be surprised at how well they do!!

Things are looking great! I have really toned down my holiday decorating. It’s not money, or lack of caring…I’m just becoming more of a minimalist as I get older and I like just a touch here and there. Thank you for all you do!🌻🌻🌻

Amy, yes!!! Simplicity is so much more. For years I totally over did all my seasonal decor. Last year as I was putting up my fall I found myself only dreading that i would be taking it down before I knew it to put up Christmas. So I scaled way back. Then did the same with Christmas and I am even scaling back more this fall too. Thrift stores are loving seeing me pull up with seasonal donations. We get so caught up in all the decorating we lose the joy that each season or holiday brings. Have a very blessed week sweet lady. Oh and yes!!! You are looking fantastic! ❤😊❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hello I been walking every Saturday and Sunday morning. I work during the week I get off at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="750">12:30</a> in the afternoon but by then I am tied I get up,at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="240">4:00</a> in the morning. But I do go out on our patio. To take care of the plants and flowers love to be outside. But it’s hot in Texas
