shack the dude in red over Coruscant is one of the heroes that makes the prices drop by 25% so I suggest moving him to kuat before buying the mandator

Shack you can also pair Delta up with Alya Secura. She's also a raid until and it helps to have her with Delta

Sev didn't even die on your raid Shack, in your last video it looks like he just despawned right when the retreat timer hits zero.

If you can save up for the Mandator it will just roll over anything they can throw at you, combine that with a good admiral and a carrier fleet and it literally cant stop you this early.

Mandator is such a good ship, definitely go for that. Praetor kinda feels like a big target that gets chewed up even in the backline, but the Mandator with the Ultraheavy turbolasers can just about shrug off the donuts and then give it back to them sevetal times over. Plus you can upgrade them later into the Mandator 2 for extra survivability and firepower.

The intros to the episodes always get me so hyped

My advice would be to save up, complete the mission and then use the money to buy the Mandator with change to spare for infrastructure.

I'd higly suggest the Mandator, I've been able to take down two lucrehulks with a single mandator. Also use Windu, Yoda, and Plo together - They are like a 3 man army. (Just watch health)

Shack those Invincible Dreadnoughts are some of best ships in the game. Because they fire their Assault Concussion missiles continuously and missiles have insane range.

Mhm. The way I see it the best strategy I can recommend is raise the 25k to complete the senate mission. Once done invest in defenses on both Naboo and Ryloth to anchor them with shield gens and turbolasers for 2k each. After you have ordered them focus on building up the inner core’s fleet with the mandator along with some assault ships.

I'd say you move Sate Pestage to Kuat because he gives a price discount. Then save up for the 25,000-credits mission, get your free Acclamators, and then build a Praetor.

Mandator is a good ship. You can support it with the corvettes for aa and it really nice against a typical seppie fleet. Its a big fleet killer.

Minor lore tidbit (I'm so sorry for being that guy) but the Deep Core and the Core Worlds are two different sectors of space. The Deep Core is where worlds like Byss and Tython are, the hyperlanes there are constantly shifting because of black holes and other space anomalies that cause the routes to collapse. The Core Worlds are where Coruscant, Corellia, etc. are including Empress Teta, much more stable territory.

isn't strange how an amphibious army like the gungans would choose to use a thrown weapon? In other words, a weapon that couldn't be used under water, has very limited range, and requires lugging around bulky and heavy ammunition. I would have expected them to use a sort of trident or torpedo type weapons for underwater capability and just obtain regular blasters like (literally) every other species in the galaxy. Also, why would they rely on those big animals to carry around their equipment? They live underwater, so I don't know how they can breed and house them. Also, we know they have the tech to make advanced submarines and impressive shielding, but they can't make a truck?

When I see that CIS RETREATING from Ryloth I just think back to Master Ima-Gun-Di and Captain Keeli doing their last stand. THE TWI'LEKS WILL LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY

Absolutely get a praetor it’s my all time favorite ship between both republic and imperial eras

In response to your question for a use for scout bikes. They are: Harrassers (use them to split or draw away approaching forces so you can use your main force to defeat the enemy in detail), Flankers (They easily get behind enemy lines and can plink away at logistical or back line targets, forcing the enemy to waste time responding or risk being weakened), Forward Scouts (their ability to cross the map in seconds allows you to place them at forward choke points or capture areas that your main army has little hope of reaching in time, this tells you how close the enemy is, if they've neglected an area that you can exploit, and what the first units you'll likely face will be. They also have an added bonus of weakening and slightly delaying fodder units like lone infantry sent to capture a point or structure). In almost all of these cases, you can pause the game, pick areas you want them to be, then forget about them until you need them again assuming they live that long. Don't bother using them for anything else, they don't win battles by themselves, they are a support unit you use to manipulate the enemy.

build the Praetor, also the research unlocks after week 20 if remember correctly. keep Shaak Ti on Kamino she boost clone training. Aayla Secura is a stealth unit so pair her up with Delta and If I remember correctly clone commandos are not stealth.

So the gungans siding with whoever owns the planet is likely a reference to The Clone Wars TV series, which had an episode revolving around the gungan leadership debating about/ being manipulated into joining the Seperstists. It ends with JarJar impersonating the Boss involved, and Captain Tarful (from Phantom Menace) dueling General Grievous to capture him and winning at the cost of his own life (though they had to release Grievous to secure a captured Anakin’s release by Dooku).

Shack your fleet cap is replenished by a certain amount every week. You can use the fleet recruitment center to increase the amount you get

If you want the Praetor, my advice is sent Sate Pestage to Kuat, he'll be able to drop the price of the initial 17 thousand credits by 25% so you'll save 4250 credits or you build KDY office there, that way, you'll save not only 30% of the cost but it'll decrease the time needed to build the Praetor by 30% as well... I did that with the Mandator just yesterday😂😂

Scout bikes are decent at anti infantry. They can also be used for cheese if you're so inclined. If you take as many scout bikes as you can and rush the enemy landing zone, you can wipe out all their infantry and ideally capture it yourself with dismounted bikers before they can spawn any more, locking them out of reinforcements

if you're eventually gonna phase out those invincible dreadnaughts then you might as well throw them into some messy fights.

Scouts = Orbital Bombardment Vision. Orbital Bombardment Vision = no death mothballing. No death mothballing = a better invasion. A better invasion = more planets. More planets = more money. More money = more troops (scouts) Rinse and repeat.

Honestly the mandator is really good at smashing medium defended planets and it can ordital bombard and run bombing runs its also amazing at core defense which will be super important if your pushed back to the core worlds like I was, so I put it on Kuat with a max level station and watched the cis smash there heads against it while I built up a new assault fleet and counter attacked. In my opinion worth it early game

Last time I was this early the doughnuts were just food items

Stockpile what you don't need. Safeguard Kamino especially, Eraidu&Naboo if you want... but open a defendable and quick route to the core from Kamino ;with Rothana to supply both heavy vehicles and capital ships to Kamino, heading up from Bathuawi to the Core where I usually have Yalaren and Yoda waiting over Kashyyyk shouldnt be too hard. Kenobi and Skywalker lead the way. It should be pretty doable. Put a good deal into economy...you're gunna need it.

Id go with the mandator over the praetor. Its just 4000 more; is better stat wise; they both have the same crew cost of 150; and the mandators description says it can be upgraded later at era 3 to the mandator 2 so your future proofing yourself. It would be your flagship for this campaign, which would remain non obsolete later due to the upgrade.

I know im late to the party, but i would rather have 2 Preators than a mandator. that way you can push with both to the south and link up and pass one over to the Southern fleet whilst holding the other in reserve with the Core fleet. The Southern fleet has tons of carriers and whilst they dont have that many fighters, the north fleet has those weird old ships which are decently strong.

Aye Shack I came out with a crazy idea but if you haven't lost the space over Mon Cal you can do a commando raid on either Mintooine or Pammant and snipe out of the 2 dreadnaught shipyards the CIS has and you can also get Rendili Star Drive early on Mon Cal to pump out a ton of Invincibles for a eventual pushout from Mon Cal if you've somehow taken the ground of Mintooine or Pammant via commando raid with both Delta and Ayla Secura.

I’d save up for two weeks so you have a solid amount of credits to get the Senate support and anything else it offered, then go for a Mandator as a nucleus for a new offensive fleet to take the Separatist dreadnought worlds in the Core.

Fun fact: ship crew and fleet population are not the same! Ship crews are still pretty limited in their implementation. If you get low, bigger ships are temporarily removed from the build bar.

I know I'm late to this but the scout bikes are actually pretty decent and cheap anti-infantry in the early game.

Hey, in ur first space battle u show in this video I wanted to give u a killer tip. Just go after the engines and they are dead in the water far before they get to ur base. U can do this easily with bombers and while they are spread thin and dead in the water u can destroy them one by one

Love watching your videos shack. Keep up the great work and continue entering us. Anyone have an issue when saving a Galactic Conquest, where the game crashes or just gets stuck on a saving screen. For this same mod, fall of the republic.

45:40 definetly just wait for the 25000 to tick over for the free acclamators, then invest in 3 of the 5500 credit (still massive) capital ships. More flexible, so that you can give your attack fleet a front line

I'd love to see you get a praetor, also you lost that delta member in the one of their first assaults when they were on top of a ridge and their pathing bugged and one of them just kind of la di da'd into the middle of the enemy if I remember correctly

Praetor and Mandator have the same crew cost, but the Mandator can be upgraded to a Mandator II at era 3. So if you plan to keep it for a longer time, the Mandator would be better.

You can use Dlta and AAyla Secura together becaus both are stealth units

I have an idea for now hold off on building any super caps and flush out your Fleet with support ships. Ps you might need to build the kuat Drive yards in order to get the venator.

If you do build either a Praetor or a Mandator Admiral Shed should be in charge of it.

I like the thought that in this timeline, the Gungans of Naboo never got the chance to make peace with the Naboo humans, so when the separatists come and 'liberate' them, the Gungans see it as a chance to rid themselves of the oppressive humans

If you build the Kuat drive yards I think it lets you research the venator and Victory’s ( I think )

I'm not sure if they've been nerfed to the super extreme, but the speeder bike thermal dets? I would always use them for drive-bys on B-1s or other infantry units. I'll click the speeder bike's movement order to move past the group, and pause to drop it just right. That way they keep moving after the drop. I would DECIMATE groups of B-1s with a single bike

Don't pull back the free dreadnaughts because they will spend their last moments running rather than doing damage and then die anyway. THEY ARE FREE, you won't lose them

I started a new Empire at War playthrough... vanilla, Empire, it is SUCH a different game than what i'm seeing here. Even the UI elements work different. And i'm stuck at some mission where i'm supposed to capture Leia in the Tantive IV and i keep failing that mission because she manages to jump out every time something else goes wrong.
