On the 23rd June 2023 Star Trek: Prodigy was cancelled and Season 2 shelved.
Now we move into an alternate timeline as we we continue our journey that is "Prodigy Reckoning". We want this project to bring regular awareness and become lighting rods for "new" Prodigy content to promote the #StarTrekProdigySeason3 cause!
Captain Keller & Lt Commander Reed find themselves in a hostile timeline chased by a hostile captain. No allies or knowledge of where to go, is this the end of our Hero's or will they rise to the challenge to save the timeline.
Please share the word, share the episodes, we want as many people to see this new Prodigy content...if we show CBS/Paramount there is serious fan love and more conversations to be had for Star Trek: Prodigy...maybe we can get a 3rd season and beyond of this amazing show!

Or…is something…or…someone more sinister here, at work🤫🤫🤫?? This is so entertaining, exciting, fun, excellent…with a ton of mystery and intrigue. As Data’s Sherlock Holmes always says to Geordi LaForge’s Dr John Watson: “The game’s afoot, Watson!! Come! @@SGUDistantHope Unfortunately, i don't make enough to have consistency in paying for any patreon, or membership subscription. I will still continue to follow and of course watch these, as I am greatly interested. It's actually quite nice to see some Fan-Fiction writers producing great quality visual works. I have a love for many things sci-fi, including in literature! I would love to witness these exploits of sci-fi adventures become realized as fully novelized written works!! As for this latest episode, making the Protostar vessels more OP than larger, more established ships-of-the-line certainly fits the bill: bigger isn't always better. If you can take out a ship larger than yours by any degree, THAT would be the better ship/craft to have at your disposal.

Well that was fun! 🙂 Just one thing that threw me... The Prodigy's computer says Sam's ship can do warp 9.99, but Sam's number 2 says the Prodigy can do 9.7 and then adds "Their ship is amazing." That adulation doesn't make sense because Sam's ship is faster (before it was damaged).

Well where do I start, I liked the General Shelby reference, but my confusion was it’s an alternate timeline not the mirror universe but I’m guessing we might see Q at some point when they find out what caused it. But I don’t understand how they were not altered into the new timeline unless the protostar engine shielded them - lots of possibilities

@@michelle.lima5 Q has nothing to do with this, this is not the Condeferation timeline. Just as we saw with the first episode, Drednok killed Kirk which lead to Khan going to Earth and taking over, that was the split point. Its a new alternate timeline. I can see why you dont understand about the Protostar, as if its one of the threads left hanging on purpose ;)

U.S.S. Archer, NCC-76725, a Ross-Class starship if I remember correctly? quite the upgrade for Captain Keller. While not quite top-of-the-line considering the Ross was launched in 2381 and the class entered general service prior to the synth attack? It’s still a nice vessel.

This is a really good production and good story line. Acting is pretty good as well. Nice work! I am puzzled with the story. Why the captain could not help the lieutenant with operating the protowarp drive. If she was captain of the first protowarp flight, surely she must be an expert.

Thank you! Much appreciated! Great question. We have filmed (but not yet edited) that story so i can answer. In that story, Captain Keller was brought on to captain the first test flight but not pilot. That was also 15-18 years earlier than this mission. She was not trained on Protodrive operations to the extent that the pilot was for that mission, and it was just a single mission. In the almost 2 decades that have past, as with many skills, she is only aware of the Protodrive but not its ins and outs. Plus her job in this situation with limited time is to solve every other problem, with Reeds being to work on the protodrive. Great question!

⁠@@SGUDistantHopeI’d say your two lead actors could have a little more confidence, with the storyline I’d say - It looks like the Borg time traveled to wraith of khan (I just watched it the other night too) and now instead of the federation it’s the Khan Empire ( please say your playing Khan ) ( since I haven’t watched prodigy I don’t know what the ship can do you have good guess as to how your colleagues will solve this )

@@SGUDistantHopewith the enterprise volume - idk it it’s correct but visually I’d say it’s probably right , I’ve run this math - 268 KG per meter cubed ( Duranium-tritanium ) for 1 metric ton per 3.731 meters ( ever ship I’ve did the math on seems to be correct except the Vesta class it should be around 2.2 million metric tons )

@@SGUDistantHope Cool there's a Cerberus class ship in Star Trek Online within the Prometheus line of ships. Most STO ships belong to a line of ships and the player can mix and mach peaces from the different ships to make their own personal style.

Neither. Both of those alternate timelines were based on specific events, this is a new timeline based on the death of Kirk and Khans take over of earth. Its the Khan Empire timeline :D

Ah another grognards who needs to denigrate the newest iteration. People like you who poo poohed TNG, DS9, BSG reboot, nuWho...etc. good thing is you all either die out, deny ever having been this crotchety... It's also stupid to denigrate current trek when this film itself is going on concepts from Prodigy. So enjoy the present and enjoy the fan appreciation in the form of films like this as well. Whatever trying to keep perspective in YT comments is kinda useless..it's always a cesspool

Acting and effects are top notch. But sorry, have zero interest in non-canon Trek Toons. Would much rather see this time, effort, and talent spent on the Lost Era or showing us Wolf 359. Great music, sound, editing, everything is great, just ... if you had made the actual Prodigy series, with real actors and these effects, that would be different. But, by their definition, Trek Toons are not canon. Regardless of what they claim, they are animation, and certainly not canon visually, and in the case of Second Decks, impossible to be canon in any way. Most Trek Toons are super cringe... They should hire you to do a real, canon Trek series, and leave the silly , goofy, caroony childish series like Prodigy and Lower Decks to the bottom feeders who don't really appreciate the higher ideals of Trek.
