What if he is communicating with something else I mean maybe aliens,or they are just a group of people who are doing this to survive and gather supplies.
Imagine turning into a ghoul, surviving 200+ years, getting caught in a nuclear war, seeing all the carnage and horror, remembering when you first arrived in Boston on a ship, building a settlement on said ship, and you die to some fucking guy in a blue jumpsuit...
This is what i always think when taking out skinny malone’s triggermen. Like they got a good thing going, they’ve survived for a long time, and yet they throw it away being armed goons for skinny.
The motorcycle guy might be the puppet man from the fabled vault 77 (the one about one man and a crate of puppets). A far fetched idea but it would be interesting.
As a Norweigan playing fallout 4 and finding the shipwreck. It was a strange encounter and i thought someone was talking to me, but then i realized the raider spoke norwegian. I sneaked on the ship to find the console and the luck bobblehead and bolted without killing anyone of them.
Since I first found out what they were saying I've tried to do the same thing. I wish i could somehow get them to join the Minutemen even if they wouldn't take English speaking settlers just so I could leave them be and even help them survive. Maybe a pipboy has a translator tool for the wearers voice? Just enough to say trade and stuff lol break the language barrier
Pretty much yea, even I started to accept that I'm really the bad guy. I even killed off the brotherhood of steel and any other major faction except the minutemen because I feel sorry for them.
The Norwegian raiders attack settlers if you send them past the boat on supply runs. They start shooting them from the top of the boat. The settlers are just walking by.
You know. I wish if you killed tower tom you could gain a special interaction with Red where you can tell her the fate of her sister and gain a good standing with a small group of commonwealth raiders.

@ [] Jem *Raider Guy #1:* I heard a story from another guy, who heard it from another guy, who heard it from a guy who used to trade with a settlement called Paradise Falls. *Raider Guy #2:* Just get to the fucking point! *Raider Guy #1:* Anyway, the story goes that a group of raiders came across a loner in a vault suit, with the number 77. The loner kept mumbling to himself & without any warning or reason, the loner killed most of the raiders. *Raider Guy #2:* What happened afterwards? *Raider Guy #1:* The last surviving raider member heard the loner say "I'm the puppet master", then the loner disappeared. *Raider Guy #2:* Sounds like something you made up. *Raider Guy #1:* I said it was a story, I never said it was true. *Raider Guy #2:* So for all we know, there maybe a psycho wondering the waste in a vault suit with the number 77.
Brandon M. Bruursema well no. If they leave the body outside then someone else might find it. Even if she was killed inside then you don’t want a rotting corpse inside the building
I love that in fallout4 not all raiders are on the same side. The fact that raiders are considered their own mini factions with their own territory is a nice touch to the game.
11:00 Yeah, it's a shame Tom never thought of, y'know, giving some of the booze that's in the brewery in exchange for food. It's amazing how the simplest solution can often be the best one.
therein lies the problem with most Raiders, they only want to do things the quick and stupid way without once trying to put in an honest days work for themselves in order to make a better life.
@@eddmario If the devs are making fun of me for carrying a desk fan, the devs can go suck one. They're the ones that made screws so hard to come by without Scrapper.
@@kidcuh. pretty sure they're just making alcoholic jokes lol. As a prior alcoholic i found their banter quite funny lol Edit: even tho i dont drink nearly as often, i also thought the same thing he said lol. Six bottles is huge?? Jeez my problem was worse than i thought 😭💀💀
Or about shifting gears? Not one of these vehicles in this world seems to be in running condition. It’s been over 200 years since there was a functioning vehicle of any kind. How would they know any of this. It seems to me the writers got a bit too caught up in the story, and didn’t think through what the NPCs would and would not know. Also, what does a nuclear powered motorcycle actually sound like anyway? And would it even have a conventional gearbox?
One of the first 2 Fallout games actually had a fully functioning car you could drive, so it's reason to assume working motorcycles are still a thing as well.
@@thedevilsaid6846 here i am thinking it’s some in game easter egg character but that makes more sense. Are the sound effects exactly identical to what michael winslow did in movies or is it just a 50-50 possibility?
【1800-666-DESPAIR!HOTLINE】 Not everybody watches shit at the same time dude. Everyone is free to add to the conversation whenever they feel like. Fucking edgelord and self-proclaimed gatekeeper for the statute of limitations on comments.
This is genuinely one of the things I love about all of the Fallout games. The creators took time to fill out the world and make it "lived in" even before you arrived. There is turmoil between the raider gangs already happening that has nothing to do with you, and will have nothing to do with you. Outside of you just putting an unceremonious end to all of the raider's stories. And all kinds of weird one-shot scenarios for you to just put together a story yourself. None of it is ever really important, but it gives the world a sense of mystery and you can really hear the echoes of the past. Sometimes they're goofy and weird, sometimes they're sad and tragic. They run the spectrum of story telling in just one single, unmoving scene and I love it.
Those raider terminal entries also contain unique entries depending on the order you kill them in - Red will express gratitude to whoever killed Tom but lament the fact her sister wasn't there when they scouted the place after his death. Tom will also be relieve that Red is dead and he no longer needs to keep up the facade. Other raider leaders will also have things to say on their terminals about raiders leaders you kill.
One thing I really hope for in the next fallout is the ability to avoid combat with hostile groups and interact with them if you have good charisma or luck. There's so much potential once you don't have to kill every raider that see you
There's literally a perk for humans and a perk for creatures that pacify them if you have 10 charisma lol you can get them to surrender or fight for you
When I got to that Norwegian ship I thought I was either having a stroke or my game bugged out. I have Norwegian speaking family members so I recognized it, even though it's google translate Norwegian and not what they would really say, the Jeg kommer hjem sounded familiar because I know Jeg and hjem mean I'm and home, kommer sounds like coming. Idk why I decided to explain this, but the feeling of losing my mind was strong.
I remember the first time I heard the noise guy story from the two raiders and I thought it was hilarious and I thought it was so neat that you could hear them talking about this whole event
I think that the rogue knight could very well be somebody we've seen in Fallout 3. We know that the BoS took quite a brutal turn when Owyn and her daughter died. Maybe some of Sarah's men went rogue, like Gallows for instance,or even the Lone Wanderer
#4: Tower Tom is an idiot. He could have simply sold the alcohol and bought food. It would have meant that they would need to settle down a bit, but... food.
@@bubblebutbandit1666 I always assumed that Raiders only trust those who are already part their specific "raider clan" while being neutral to other raiders (As long as 'turf borders' were respected) and agro to everyone else.
If you kill Red before Tom he add into his terminal that some or something offed the other group and he will get his group ready to take the place over... I had 90+ grenades and wanted to see how fast I could clear the area.
Toxin 12 >> If you don't know what I mean by NSFW, then I don't think it's a good idea to explain it. As for the flower, I thought he might had brewed some new alcohol with Lillies added in. It was only when I read further down the comment section that I realized that he hid Lilys body in one of the brewing vats. I should probably add that I haven't played Fallout.. At all. I suck at shooting games, so I usually just stick to Skyrim
The motorcycle noise man reminds me of Michael Winslow. He’s a beat boxer and an actor who could make incredibly realistic sound effects. Was in movies like Police Academy and Spaceballs. He was really freaking cool in those movies!
Leave it to raiders to, instead of negotiating a trade (drinking liquor is a luxury, food is a necessity), just resort to killing each other. Depending on overall surplus of supply at both outposts, they could have had a mutually beneficial alliance and two fronts from which to expand, a significant supply of food for both outposts, and significant stockpiles of liquor to boost morale. Seriously, one of the first things I do with the Settlement system is link a new settlement to a prosperous one by supply lines (Usually using a central hub to send traders from, like The Mechanist's lair and Robots manning the supply lines). This ensures that new settlements get a head start as far as food and water, materials, and I can start building up infrastructure and future-proofing that individual settlement. Of course, I also refuse to play without Sim Settlements because it just makes the system that much better for me.
The Norwegian raiders attacked me first. I wasn't even on their ship yet they shot at me and several settlers. I think they got aggro'd by the mirelurks and that caused them to become hostile.
Try to imagine my suprice as a norwegian when i found those norwegian raiders. Love the details in bethesda games. Love your videos nate. Keep up the good work
I mean, I’d things like vertibirds can still function who’s to say that cars and other vehicles were restored in some places of the wasteland. Maybe someone found a way to repair a mother cycle to working order.
1:07 I always felt bad for clearing the FMS Northern Star but they killed a dog at Warwick home stead and and I just Nuked them all with a Big Boy MIRV
Vikings were mostly farmers...and adventurers-- they settled in what is now New Foundland Canada over 500 years before Christopher Columbus set sail 1492.
Bring paladin danse with you to each of the overboss fights. See if there's any unique dialogue with him if he was a survivor of danses recon team, or known by danse
motorcycle guy reminds me of nick valentine's story about the time he survived raiders by telling them he was rigged to explode, and then saying 'beep beep beep' for effect lmfao
Brennen Myers as someone who has played at least 1000 hours of Skyrim and 500 hours of fallout 3 new Vegas and 4, I never knew this. That’s really funny
@@jamesshelton1127 the Mudcrabs of Skyrim are based off of the real life animal of the same name...The real world Mudcrab is only about 6 inches (about 15 centimeters) across in terms of leg span though, so apparently spiders aren't the only animals in the Elder Scrolls games that are supersized. Anyway, the Mirelurks of Fallout are apparently mutated variants of the real world Mudcrab.
Hey Nate, i now that fallout new Vegas is an old game, but can you maybe consider of making some tiny details video's of that peace of art? I will really love that. Sorry for my bad english. And doe the rest, pleace like if you think the same.
I think that story about the motorcycle man is an easter egg about a real life army soldier who pretended to be crazy and drive his "motorcycle" around the pow camp. Even convincing the guards he was harmless until he escaped with everyone in that pow camp.
I honestly wish that you could help out Red's raider gang via a quest where she asks for your help storming Tom's brewery and saving her sister and then her raider compound becomes a settlement as a thank you for helping her.
Are you forgetting that raiders are a murder guild? First of all that’s no place to bring a child. Second, there’s no way they’re all just gonna decide murder is wrong and become upstanding settlers when you save the girl
I really wish I could make a mod where you can avenge Lily, either by just stumbling on the beantown brewery, or by defeating most of Red’s troops. It would be fun to get the quest and avenge lily for some sort of reward, maybe food for a random settlement and possible protection.
Could've easily been set up with you storming the stash then as you enter her roomw here they're all holed up she stops and holds a conversation with you and if you've read the terminal logs you have the option to mention Lily and that could turn the faction neutral to you (reading the terminal implies you killed Tom) But they really toned down the dialogue in 4 so it would be "difficult" for them to add the options and still have them be descriptive enough for you to know what it means when you choose it.
So actor Michael Winslow is alive in Fallout 4 going around doing sound effects with his mouth? ….I feel like watching the original Police Academy now.
I feel like the “raiders” of the FMS Northern Star are an example of in-game psychology. We, as the players, have the advantage of online translators. The Sole Survivor does not. They don’t know who or what these people are, so they make an assumption based on the apparent situation. They are wrong about these former sailors being raiders, but there is no in-game way of knowing that.
