They Told Me I Could Become Anything, So I became an Eggplant first, I love the username! And second, I think the disabling of achievements is on Sony and Microsoft.

Kris Reese yeah possibly...if so Bethesda needs to grow a pair and tell em no! Regardless though I think there's a mod that allows you to earn achievements with other mods going on PC...I haven't looked into it yet as I have console commands for building (that doesn't disable my achievements when I use them incidentally.) Hopefully something comes around that will let console users mod and achieve as well!

They look at mods as cheats. . .still. That's why they disable achievements/trophies. That's also why when you have a modded file, it marks it with an [M]. To get achievements, you just have to load a game that has not been modded, AND make sure you don't have any mods running. There was a way to mod F.O.3 to console command the achievements to pop. That is cheating. Which, I don't care. achievements mean nothing anymore. As long as the cheats don't effect other people, I say knock yourself out. I myself, abuse how broken the game is to achieve my ends. Now, if there were a way to, say, somehow let modders create their own achievement for their own mods and dlc. That'd be great!

You can unlock the airport before the BOS arrives by just clearing out the ghouls, after the BOS arrives you need to do the quests up to going to the Prydwen the first time and then you can unlock, or failing that just wait until the BOS is destroyed and then you can claim the airport (once the fire goes out) - all without mods.
