The castle came out great, it was fun to watch you build it from the ground up. This is the best settlement I have ever seen you build!

I'm really sorry to see this series come to an end, but this has definately been one of my favorite series to watch on youtube period, and I'm looking forward with hope and anticipation to whatever build you go for next. Congratulations on a fantastic build :D

I mean having watch many of the build video leading up to this one I wasn't as surprised to see the end result, but seriously this is super impressive. Did you say you build this on PS4? If so even more astonishing, but also sad because you probably won't be able to export it with CDantes Transfer Settlements mod. Maybe someone is willing to rebuild it in the CK.

after 2 years im back again xD and decided to play Fallout 4 on PC now. is there a way to remove the ''patrol'' marker in the castle on PC ? thats why i stopped playing on the PS4 i made a good looking castle. but the patrols fuck it all up.

I think the fact that this was made on PS4 using creative methods like rug-glitching and the concrete pillar majes it even more impressive. Along with some mods this build is most definitely your masterpiece. Excited to see what you do in the future!

This build definitely pays props to all the time you've put into all the builds prior. It looks every bit like the world around it and could easily have been dev made. Well done Davy.

how do you get those like ransom pieces of wood on the ground? what dlc or mod Is it?

I had an idea for an incredibly roleplay-centric build a while back that I'm far too lazy to build myself, and I thought I'd pitch it to you: I was thinking of a sort of class-based settlement with a dynamic for poor/rich areas of the settlement, the specific idea I had was a situation wherein the poor, impoverished settlers would live in the crowded, scrappy junkyard on land, while the wealthier settlers would live in a nicer, cleaner area which is situated on the water via supported platforms. The junkyard itself could have little alcoves where the dirty, impoverished denizens sleep on filthy mattresses, a shitty bar, a back-alley surgeon, an abundance of well-armed and oppressive guards, a farm where serfs are forced to work for nothing, and maybe even a hidden serial killer's lair or something. The wealthy area could have a lot of high-tier businesses like a high-level clinic, an exotic and well-stocked bar, a clothing store for discerning ladies & gentlemen, and fancy houses with a clean, sophisticated aesthetic, basically the aristocracy of the settlement, kind of like the situation in The Hunger Games, where the rich oppress the poor, forcing them to fight in an arena and using them as serfs, with an incredibly corrupt mayor in a large mansion behind it all. The implementation would be somewhat of a problem, since there aren't many settlements that are large enough for one to make both areas look impressive, let alone with an arena in addition to the other main areas; I was thinking of Nordhagen Beach, but it's probably not big enough, you'd have to get a mod which makes the build area larger, and there is one, but it conflicts pretty badly (at least in my experience) with STS, and that's somewhat of a problem in the long run since it's not the kind of conflict you can fix by just uninstalling the mod, not to mention that the settlers themselves are probably the most important feature of the settlement, and are what would give it most of it's charm, so you'd have to recruit quite a few of them to really make it work. In the end, if you can pull it off, it'd be a settlement with an incredible amount of personality and could be quite fun to design and build.

Davey, I've been watching your videos since your first rug glitch tutorial (way back when) and was blown away by this, even after seeing the individual build stages. But finishing it was sad because I couldn't think of anything that could top the complexity and character of The Castle. Then I thought of Kingsport Lighthouse, Bunker Hill, Warwick Homestead and (of course) the bohemoth that is Spectacle Island. Magic is coming folks, stay tuned. Keep rocking dude.

A lot of you wonder how he passed the build limit. If you wanna know how to do it without mods, follow these steps: 1. Drop all of your weapons on the ground. 2. Pick them up from the workshop. 3.Repeat the process until you get the wanted level of building. 4.Like my comment, unless it won't work.

hey davey, nicely done as usual...is there a chance i could pull at least half of something like this off without the dlc's? i'm currently building on the first red rocket...and liking how it's coming out...like you mentioned...it's kinda time consuming...anyway...i haven't made any video from the beginning, as it most likely would end up being long and embarrassing...but who needs stupid details anyway...i've only managed to pull the rug glitch off successfully twice during the whole build...i dont have the pillars from the dlc's but trying to use the fencepost for at least some kinda elevation doesn't work...any hints? i'm thinking of going with keyboard as the controller is probably limited...haven't checked it out yet...anyway, nice job.

I have an idea for your next settlement!!! EvilViking13 did a Minuteman factory in the Mehanists Lair. Maybe you could do a more "scrappy" version of it?

Its so good! I cant believe its actually over! Props Davey! The detail on this is just amazing, it really gives me as a PS4 user some "hope" when it comes to nice, big builds! And you have given me inspiration to go back to the castle. Congrats Davey! Only thing that I could even criticize is those artillery stations are very easy to be shot at. I think this does look a lot like Megaton btw! Its just satisfying

Definitely very nice. The inside of the castle is a bit sparce but the courtyard, docks, and so forth are really good. It feels like Bethesda made concept art.

What's the trick for not having your game crash and your console commit suicide? I had about half of the amount of stuff (half completed Sanctuary) and my game will crash whenever I go back into the town. Is there some sort of trick with using certain pieces and not others? I've heard specific lights and decorations will aid in rendering the settlement unstable. I'm kind of at a loss, as whenever I get a build nearly complete in the smaller locations, I'm basically unable to ever visit it again or else my game crashes. I don't have many mods installed, mostly workshop ones and very minor gameplay changes.

Having been thru "the attack" a few times...your run thru it might be a bit hard because of all the buildings. Enemies will probably get caught where they spawn in and be difficult for you get too, but good luck thou and I look forward to the vid! Which, now having watch the entire vid...is what you also said! I should wait till the end before commenting.

Wooowww Davey, I try and make builds like this but you put me to shame with yours . You should do a sort of Inverted megaton at bunker hill, so instead of there being big walls around the settlement and it sort of caving in, have it in a pyramid around the monument keep up the good work. Like so he can see 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I get so inspired by your builds! On PC so the sky’s the limit for me, but it’s easy to become at bit lazy and just randomly place awesome stuff made by mod authors rather than being creative and make your own stuff. So thanks for all the great builds and inspiration!

Really wish we could get that glass encasement from Nuka-World on PC, but I can't even find the thing in the creation kit to make it a buildable object.

I kind of feel like I've actually been there, like I've stood on top of the wall over by the crane and looked out over the courtyard. And I think a few empty shacks is pretty immersive, people move on for a season or something, all the junk inside gets traded off, and the next 'citizen' that can contribute to the Castle can petition to move in. Or maybe one of the empty shacks is like a temporary holding cell, or a place they only furnish when some important visitor is in town.

We’ve seen this against the Institute but I want to see the against the Brotherhood! The Brotherhood attack is so much more mystery, Vertibirds, Rocket Launchers and Miniguns!

I used to try and copy your builds (because I haven't the vision you do nor anything worthy of my own when it comes to settlements) but I realized I get more joy just watching your videos come together. awesome stuff hope there's another big project in the future

How do you have junk items laying around without getting knocked around everywhere or clipping through walls and floors? Is there a mod for that?

I just uploaded my first settlement video last night and i have a couple of things from other people's builds in my build but I hope I can be half this good on my own someday. This is my favorite build I've seen yet.

I really enjoy this type of thing like you build 1 building of an area per episode to build up that settlement and you should do more like this so like the next one should totally be a similar thing but spectacle island or instead of a vault do an underground shanty town :D

I cannot build nothing in survival mode focused on water weapons power armour an sanctuary. any tips to expand or what settlement is best I am set on food although my guy is probably tired of tatos hahah. please help no smart as tips bros

norespawns here's some a helpful mod for you to look at. placeable npc's and as what to build you said in a video you was gonna build a lighthouse at spectacule island so how about doing that.

I think you should do a spectacle island build next. You could incorporate the nuka world dlc and make some kind of resort.

If you search Daws fallout 4 on RU-vid he has the best castle I have ever seen. Yours is great but I feel like you need to see it norespwans.
