The back area is where all the commoners should stay. Have a bunch of shacks piled up and stuff, like shanty town in the back, just overflowing with 1 room houses, stacked on the walls of the buildings.
Hi Davey. There was a trick to move unscrappable objects in the vanilla game, stuff like the Slog beds. I don't recall the details, but you can look them up pretty easily. It might work for that piece of metal that you're trying to get rid of. Maybe, maybe not, but worth a shot, eh? Good luck.
Have you seen the trailer for ready player one? They have these kick ass building which are like a ton of mobile homes stacked on top of each other. I wonder if you could do that. And also I'm loving hang mans alley so far!
I've noticed some of the expand build area mods can conflict with the scrapping mod and make things unselectable and make things I previously scrapped respawn. Maybe try turning it off while you're building in the main area?
Davey, I’ve never been able to find what mod you got the tall measured pillars from? My USO glitch menu only had the one small pillar that only sinks a few inches. I’m just using the warehouse pillar in the mean time. Cheers
Have you tried to contact the mod author of your scrapping mod to see if (s)he missed that specific part when making the scrapping recipe? I'm assuming your ability to scrap the rest of it is due to your scrapping mod, I'm not built in Hangman's alley yet.
you could try using the "movetoplayer" command, that usually makes items scrapable for me just be very sure you get the correct item id or you can make a real mess.
Hey Davey, Been meaning to ask, you use a lot of modded buildings in your settlements. Do your Settlers use them, like does their AI recognize them? Or do they stand around looking confused when you assign them to do something in said building? If it's the latter, are you able to fix it with like navmesh rugs? I'm having that problem, I added the navmesh rugs but they still won't go inside the building.
sometimes - honestly I'm not too bothered if they dont use a certain area. for the most part though, yeah yeah use everything - even it it just means they kinda teleport over between loading screens
norespawns Yup, you mentioned the teleportation in another video. Think it was in the castle. You switched out some of the modded walkways also with vanilla and added plywood. Anyways, thanks for the tips.
