this trailer is actually sad, a soldier guarding a military checkpoint, only to see the nukes destroying his country, and knowing he is powerless.

It's been 4 years and this trailer still gives me goosebumps.

Despite the bugs and shortcomings this game had at launch, im proud to say im one of the few who emerged from vault 76 at launch and stuck with it through the bugs, i rebuilt appalachia so that others could come and resettle. I was among the first to greet the new settlers in wastelanders and i conquered nuclear winter. Despite its rocky start, this is a great fallout game as of 2024

This trailer is amazing and Bethesda still do a great job of actually putting gameplay and using ingame areas in trailers compared to other game trailers nowadays

Its been 5 years. All the friends ive made, the memories... all of us brought together by Bethesda's Appalachian wasteland. I continue to play this game with my friends today, whether they be friends i met in Appalachia, older friends or newer friends, i always come back to Appalachia with them. Fallout has been a staple of my life, truly, since fallout 4 came out when i was 12. One of the only things i truly have memories of is Fallout. I dont care bow rough Fallout 76 was at first, it'll always have a place in my heart.

It took a while but eventually Fallout 76 became pretty decent

Happy birthday, Fallout 76! You turned 5 years old and I haven't changed one bit. I've been there since the launch, and I'll continue to be there until the end of it. The road might have been bumpy, but you made it. This trailer still lives in the back of my mind, rent-free, and so does the game in my heart. I still remember my hype for it, and I'm still getting excited with every single update. Everyone can say whatever they want about you. You changed a lot since then. For everyone reading this, the goal of Fallout 76 wasn't to be the perfect rpg solo game but rather a fun gathering from different kinds of Fallout lovers to share their own passions. Fallout 76 literally is the saying, "It's not about the goal but the friends we made along the way," and I find it beautiful. Congratulations to the team who made it.

It was a nice touch placing vault 76 in West Virginia in honor of our country. During the beginning of the civil war, the union was suffering devastating losses and was losing almost every battle. Despite this, People in western Virginia felt like they were disgracing their forefathers and so they seceded from the confederates and became a new state of the union. “West Virginia” despite seeing their country on the losing side, they would rather go down with it then be rebels. Loyalty at its finest. 🇺🇸💙

The moment I saw this as a kid.. I wanted to play it.. I have never felt so welcomed with warmth.

Say what you will, the game has a cool premise and there’s definitely a good idea for the Fallout series. It just wasn’t executed right at launch, they should’ve let it cook in the oven a little longer before release.

I dont think most people know how big of an impact this trailer had in getting Country Roads into the mainstream culture where it genuinely has joined the newest generation as though the song were released with this very trailer.

Proud to say Vault 76 is my vault.

Its sad to watch as the solider at the begining stands there helplessly as he watches 300 years of self sacrifice and war burn infront of him knowing that the millions of men and women who died for a country that was now just being thrown away is one of the most depressing things I have ever seen.

The violin in the beginning is Todd Howard playing our heart strings before tearing them out.

Lets forget the buggy past and enjoy the game we have now.

Looking at it now I can finally smile. It's been rough, but this game is finally, at least for me an 8/10.

I remember when Fallout 76 inconveniently launched at midnight (my bedtime at the time) I lived with my father and we were both huge fallout nerds and we wanted to play when it launched He was too tired to play so he let me stay up 2 hours later than i should have to play the shit outta it before him Despite its state It was really enjoyable Probably because i was young This trailer really makes me wanna play again

Just started playing this the other day. I feel lucky to have missed much of what everyone else encountered and turned a lot of players away. Solid game atm for a new player. Shame so many people won't give it another chance or are just sticking to the f76 bad bandwagon

The amount of emotion showed in the soldier is amazing… With no voice acting, hell, not even facial expressions, they showed so much emotion in him

20 hours into the game and I still haven't seen a single glitch
