kiddos, unless you *need* veneers, don't get them. they're going to need to be changed every couple years, your teeth are shaved down a lot for the 'rebuilding', and every time the teeth are shaved down until eventually it's to the root and by then your teeth are way more sensitive than what they would have been. Veneers have traditionally been used for severe reconstruction cases.
why do some people even get them if not for severe reconstructive cases? is it like an insecurity thing? because i feel like things like braces, retainers, whiteners, etc. are much more cheap and less painful solutions to that, speaking as someone who was insecure about my teeth before i got my braces
exactly, it also seems so so wrong to basically destroy perfectly fine teeth. enamel doesn't grow back and your teeth are never going to look fine without veneers ever again once you get them

My biggest concern is how performing their family dysfunction so publicly leaves their children open to literally any manipulative predators with the easiest possible access to their family history and insight into how best to manipulate them. Maybe I’m just cynical but with their younger kids age and Addison literally going into this toxic industry with like the Kardashians for mentors?? Makes them very susceptible targets. Of all my family dysfunction, only my dad’s death was publicised and that information alone was enough to attract predators towards my mom and me. One of the most disempowering things as a child is to have people become aware of your traumas without you disclosing it, without your consent, and not being able to control how someone reacts to it, perceives you, etc.,. The lack of control it provokes on top of the obvious damages of family dysfunction feels incredibly threatening. Yikes. I have limited sympathy for parents that not only fail to protect their kids, but leave them open for society to harm with nonchalance because they’re too invested in their own narratives. Of course you’re still your own person after you have kids, but frankly, half the time it’s not your right to be an individual person being threatened, it’s just your ability to be a very dysfunctional person without serious consequences for your family.

Can I just say that while I do find the whole Yung Gravy and Addison Raes mom thing funny, this entire situation is concerning.
