It is ridiculous that these poor families had to wait 13 hours just to be heard. They have been through enough!! Texas Government shame on you!! You have abandoned these families from the very beginning!!
They do realize that 5.56/.223 (what AR-15s fire) is a .22 caliber bullet right? (The bill says age to buy a rifle greater than .22 caliber raised to 21)
Our police need better training because it shouldn't have taken that long. Also, schools need to protect their students and staff. It should be hard for people to get into schools. And unfortunately, all staff needs to be trained in what to do if there is a shooting. They need to take self defense classes, and if interested learn how to shoot. Sadly, the schools will need to train the children. And parents need to demand their child's school to have a safety policy in place, otherwise they will send their child somewhere else.
Yes... and better support from coward citizens/youtube viewers who refuse to support their communities, unless it's on a keyboard or a recliner chair. If "it's our police" shouldn't it be our children too? If supporting your community is not your job, not your problem or not what you signed up for, why make a comment at all, if it's not your job. Support your community by being involved to find a solution, be a part of the solution, rather than a part of the problem.
Felix waited in the hallway, cops waited in the hallway for 77 minutes and youtube viewers waited 11 months to comment from their living rooms, 77 minutes, 11 months, tomatoes 🍅 tomatos.
you have no right to say that ! he lost his beautiful Lexi, he only did his job ! we have to take accountable Pete Arredondo bc he was the chief THAT DAY !!! Felix only followed the rules.
@@adriannamakenzie6167 So... you're saying... "nobody has the right to judge but you" Allow me to educate you... Kids don't go to school to be accidently killed by cops, they go to school to learn. schools are supposed to be safe before the massacre, not after the bloodshed. The problem with your narrow logic is it totally requires sitting in a recliner chair while waiting for cops to save kids. The problem with your plan (due diligence) is if a gunman enters a school and kills or injures at least one child, your plan is completely worthless. Maybe you didn't get the memo but the Uvalde massacre took place a year ago, and perhaps if Felix hadn't ignored the warning signs maybe there would be a different outcome. But as citizens it is our responsibility to be active and involved in our communities. If you can't find it in your heart to blame the gunman, who by the way is 100% accountable and responsible for any and all deaths or injuries as a result of his own actions and his decisions on that day. Then perhaps you should blame yourself. "ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY" JFK
Wouldn't have changed the shooters decision to do what he did. He just would have taken cheaper handguns with more ammo. A handgun bullet would have done the same damage to those children. Don't even try to lie to me and say otherwise. What happened is sad and heartbreaking, but all of you have been duped into thinking gun control is the fix. It's not. You guys are letting ignorance rule your beliefs, and that is 100% fact.
