Agreed! There are about 40I gun deaths a year. If you take away the police shooting deaths, the accidental shootings, and suicides, you are left with about 7,500 gun deaths a year. Most of those are gang / drug related. But still there are 7,500 gun deaths, so they think that justifies taking out guns. ......BUUUUUT, they never mention this Stat : from the FBI /CDC ..... Legal gun owners stop between 500,000 to 3,000,000 crimes per year. So when you weigh 7,500 deaths VS. 500,000 saved lives or crimes stopped, it seems like a no brainer.jmo
@@Steve_Hayden yep then you factor how many long guns used in crimes next to zero and stolen guns used but they still wanna take away rights of lawful citizens to just defend them and loved ones
@@perfectfan2006 Making a LAW that bans guns won't bother criminals. Hence the fact they are criminals and don't follow laws, it will only hurt the law abiding. To prove that point, they made drugs illegal, how did that work out? Have a great day and God bless
JUST WAIT!!! The "poor oppressed" deceaseds mommy is going to try to sue the so-called 'good samaritan" because he shouldn't have intefered!!! It won't be the first time for that!
The dead man was a human being, someone's son, perhaps a father and husband. If it was your family member you would want justice for his murder. And it was murder, make no mistake a life was taken willfully. The shooter had no right to kill this man, NONE. Normal people would have a problem drawing a gun on another and shooting them dead without hesitation. But this vigilante clearly has no conscience, no hesitation, just kill - that is the saddest thing, when you turn someone like that into a hero. You assume citizens murdering robbers is acceptable, then no wonder your country is getting flushed down the toilet. This is probably what the Roman empire looked like as it was crumbling amongst its own inner turmoil and political corruption. Every dog has his day and that has already happened in America - everything from here is downhill. History will review your actions and use them as lessons, on what not to do, as your country is the biggest shining example of hypocrisy upon the face of this planet. You are not free people, you are slaves with the firmly held belief you have rights and freedoms. You do not have the right or freedom to kill another person. Committing one crime to stop another is not acceptable under any law. You invade country after country for your own reasons, destroy the people and the land, then say follow our example. No thanks, don't want to go to HELL.
@@EnquiringMinds ohh the poor robber. How bad I feel for him. The innocent robber, ha no intent, on robbing or shooting anyone. He was just going about his everyday business...... right?
@@EnquiringMinds What about the life of the employee who had the robber's gun pointed at them? Is their life of no value? How do you know the robber wouldn't have shot them?

You don't mean to tell me that guns actually can do some good when used by a good guy with a gun. Shouldn't he have quoted a gun law to the crook first?
I love coming here to read the comments. Some people (like myself at times) are obsessed with reading comments. For example, you find yourself reading this comment right now, which does not contain any useful information, only curiosity, that drives you to waste your time. Have a good day.
This is what should happen! Store owner should have the right stop robbers shoplifters in other countries they cut off the hands and arms! These aches are driving all businesses from our cities and states!Samething for kids out of school!
It always amuses & irritates me so, that we have such double standards for how we treat others who pose a threat and commit violence like murders vs how we treat animals. Someone can shoot up a school, and the courts will refuse to give him death penalty, someone can rob a store with a gun and hold people hostage+ threaten others with death, yet you dare stop them and everyone suddenly says you should have just done nothing. Meanwhile a crocodile kills someone simply because we are prey animals to them, when someone swam in a obvious croc area signed to warn people, and suddenly some crocs have to die just cause.
Idk yall. Remember the days when the robber would corral potential eyewitnesses in a corner or demand everyone hit the floor? Robbers will, i think, revert to more violet means of witness control, and will be quicker to fire on heros. At most, a few hundred was in the register, with proper training like in banks & upgraded emergency easy button, no one should have died.
OsunRa... IDK either. It is a damn shame that the Good Samaritan was forced by the circumstances created by the robber to have to shoot. I am sure when he went into the Dollar Store it was the last thing he wanted to do. He will probably suffer for a long time over how he was forced by the robber to take a life. There are three kinds of people in this world - the sheep, the wolves, and the sheepdogs. - The sheep really just want to go about their lives, eating grass from the meadow, and making more sheep. - The wolves find sheep delicious - and will attack the sheep with great violence, using their large and sharp teeth and strong jaws to have a meal. - The to the sheep, sheepdogs look a lot like the wolves, with big teeth and strong muscles. The sheep (Note: sheep are not very bright) see these as no different than the wolves. Yet, the sheepdogs do not attack the sheep - instead they keep the wolves at bay. Yet the sheep persist... They have no influence over the wolves, so they lash out at the only "non-sheep" they can - and get rid of the sheepdogs. Getting rid of the sheepdogs only helps the wolves. Don't be a sheep.
Very round about way of saying "he should have minded his own business." Nobody should have died, yes, but nobody should have attempted to rob the store. He went in armed expecting an easy score and died as a result. If the one to kill him was an off duty cop would you be saying the same thing? Is it because the good Samaritan wasn't a member of law enforcement that you find a problem that he used deadly force to protect the clerk?
Disgusting that so many can call a killer a hero. The bad guy hadn't shot or killed anyone, he just wanted money. However the customer carrying a concealed weapon into a public place did kill someone, and will suffer no consequence. You should be ashamed of yourselves for making this killer into a hero. Vigilantes are not heroes. I hope the family of the dead man do sue the killer and police department - committing murder is a crime, pure and simple.
Wow, gosh, maybe robbery should be made a capital punishment so that every person who supports the vigilante murderer can say they are justified in supporting a murderer because of the crimes of another person. Its pointless talking to gun-totting supporters who think everyone should carry out their own brand of justice, on whoever, for whatever they perceive anothers crime is. There is the law and the lawless, and the vigilante, no matter his justification, had no right, no law supporting him, that he could take anothers life in his own version of over-kill justice. It's like swatting a fly with a sledgehammer. A life was taken, don't forget that. It is not up to you, the customer murderer or anyone other than a court to decide what is the punishment and execute that punishment. Judge and be judged. In moral eyes the vigilante is, and always will be, a murderer. The robber was a robber, only took 'things', not the living breath from another human.
@@EnquiringMinds Just stop. The robber was threatening to take a life, and the good Samaritan probably saved many that day. If robbers expect to live, maybe they can go unarmed and see how that works out for them.
So you'd rather wait till he shoots someone before you act? And if he does shoot you can have Sherman set the Wayback Machine for 15 minutes earlier and then shoot him.
Shooting the criminal who clearly threatened to harm is not murder, yes a kill but killing is not always wrong. We kill to protect ourselves and who/what we love. If you can't see the difference you must be an ignorant POS.
