@@rickyglaser You helped improve my skating. Because I kept conflating crouching down with bending knees. Now I understand the difference. Thanks Ricky!
I'm loving this series you're doing. I'd never watch these "learning to skateboard" videos on my own...but with your commentary they are quite fun and enjoyable.
Damnnnn! That younger Kayla girl is a natural! Like you said. If she got lessons she could easy ollie and do little gaps, maybe even grinds. Can’t believe she pulled that Casper flip out so clean 🤯
These are surprisingly entertaining, but I also can't stop screaming TURN YOUR FRONT FOOT, whenever I watch them lol. (Except that second girl. She killed it with correct foot positioning!)
I think that if they had someone who knows how to skate show them both of these girls could learn to ride and ollie in no time. CallMeKevin did a video about learning how to skate, maybe you could check it out some time.
I used to skate like 10 years ago but never got past the ollie... Every video of yours is pushing me a little bit more towards picking up the board again :D
You know what's funny, when I first learned how to skate I was relaxed.... but now that I'm a regular at my local skatepark I don't feel comfortable bc a lot of skaters are so rude for no reason
Girls have much better instinct on what not to attempt and also body awareness on how to bail without eating shit. These qualities allow the human race to continue existing.
I don't know if I subscribe to bending you knees advice cause the only time I bend my knees when I skate down the street is when I push. I stand up straight then bend my knees when I pump.
Man it's so cringe that these "famous" (or whatever they are) people make videos on learning to skate just for views. They just do it so wrong and for the wrong reasons 😂😂 if they were genuine, it would be better or if they paired with actual skaters to teach them. The vids you guys do at braille where someone is teaching someone how to skate or a certain trick are much better. I enjoy your reactions to these though because we have the same 😂😂
Ricky. I'm a professional skateboarder from the Mt Druitt ghetto area. Man I've been skating for 25 years I don't bend my knees. I'm not a gumbie. Only time I bend is pre loading. But not cruising. That's just not top class
Thank you. This reminds me of good old days, when i saw one episode of Mtv show (can't remember the name) where some glamour chick desided to skate and they send Caine Gayle to help her. She came to skate park in mini skirt and hills lol. But in the end she was kinda well in some local amature contest. Ah, heartwarming... But this one is cringe. And shit. Because i'm old and hate everything new. And zoomers. But if i'll pretend that i'm not, then i should say that it's funny. And second girl doing good, hope this is born of a new skater.
@@rickyglaser, about that show, i did some quick research, it's called "Made" and i think it was season 4 ep. 7, and girl name is Heather, but i'm not sure about it and i couldn't find video of it. I have this recorded on VHS somewhere lol but don't have player. So i think internet has lost this episode but you gotta believe me, it was very funny, little bit sad and sooo inspiring by the end) Report finished, thank you for your attention.
I’ve watched a couple of these and they get rather boring. Not sure what’s more cringy. Presentations of someone else’s stuff with a little bit of mumbling in between. Cool for some I guess but to me I see one RU-vidr with a bit of knowledge in some niche “sport”ish commenting on a “successful RU-vidr’s” videos experience in their niche field. Both don’t seem like o cut the mustard. Maybe you should get in contact with these girls and y’all can help each other out in both field. Idk if I’m making sense as I’m just a drunkard DIY skater/builder trying to get express a half assed opinion lol. Im sure I’m cringe in my own way however monotone commenting doesn’t seem to cut the mustard for the Ju-tubes haha.
Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback i appreciate it. You might like my other style vids like skating on a gameshow or exploring the city with no laws. This format isnt my favorite either but it has proven to be pretty popular. I do think i have some good advice to offer and a new skating watching could gain some good info. I have a video coming out soon of teaching an athletic 33 year old to skate with no experience.
Step 1. Spend 5 hours doing your hair and make up. Step 2. Spend 10 minutes at the skatepark attention seeking Step 3. Upload the footage and never skate again
