Fan Clutch Stays On....? Here is a demonstration of how to check the thermal switch. Part Number: 8037034P Temp Control, Mech 205NO Index Sensors & Controls www.indexsensors.com
thanks for the video, this was my problem, now its time to change the hood bushings, my hood is leaning on one side, I hope its not hard as i think it will be
My mechanic was talking about doing similar ecm bypass on n14, so I got all these parts and now his high blood pressure symptoms are back, honestly n14 and cats thermal sensor appear to look quite similar
Do you still have that schematic I have a set up on 96 fld 120 with 3406e engine Is set up to fan Is engaged once air pressure builds When starting the truck and should kick out with power applied. But there's only hot feed at random after truck sits to cold and other times no hot power to solenoid no matter manual switch or from auto with the thermistor switch So fan is always engaged and well driving periodically disengaged then reenguages like off /on off/on So to keep it steady with out damage I leave the manual switch on I'm believing the thermal switch is to blame after watching your vid. But schematic if u still have it would be helpful I tried a screen shot from the video but the print is not legible Thank-you Sir
